Chapter 61

"Really? You do? What's this one?"

"Well, as you know, I created a lot of variations, so I kinda implemented a whole bunch of stuff from my Mark-50."

"Whoa, seriously? Isn't that your strongest suit to date?"

"You bet it is, kiddo. I also changed the paint job just a smidge. Instead of blue and silver, I added some white in there. I think it looks pretty great. Plus, since you're a high flyer, figured it would help you blend in with the clouds. Of course, it's got some pretty great cloaking tech, but, ya know, minor details." I smiled, excited.

"Whoa! It sounds awesome! Thanks, Dad!"

"Sure thing, kiddo. Hey, why do you go try it on? It's downstairs, you'll see it. Might as well show the twins here what you can do, right? Being an Avenger, and all." I smiled.

"Hey, yeah. That's a really great idea! Varick, you'll love this stuff. I promise! You guys head outside, I'll meet you there." I hurried off to get the new suit as the others began to head outside to watch. I really hope this will show Varick how awesome Tony is. Maybe they can bond over something after all!

Tony's POV

I smiled as she hurried off. I lead the way outside as Pep came up beside me. She flashed a smile back at the wonder twins behind us before turning to me. I could see that she was a little nervous.

"Tony, uh, are you sure this is a good call?"

"Trust me. Once Izz gets her hands on a suit again, there's no way she's gonna be heading off with those two."

"Tony, that's not even the point of this. They're her siblings. It's not just that simple." 

"It'll be fine. Don't worry." I told her. We made it outside and I smiled as she flew out in her new suit. I liked her colors.

"Lookin' like a boss, Tailwind!" I called. She did a flip, laughing a bit.

"This suit is even more fluid! I can't believe all the upgrades you've added! I mean, more power, it's stronger, it's faster, multiple weapon upgrades? This suit is awesome, Tony! I'm starting to think you're spoiling me!"

"Uh, duh. I always spoil you, Izz. You deserve the best." She landed in front of us.

"I wouldn't go that far." She turned to the twins. "See? Isn't it cool? Tony makes these suits to help protect the world!" Fawn was smiling.

"Well, they're very impressive, Mr.Stark!"

"Some of it seems like a bit of overkill," Varick commented. I felt my blood pressure rise again.

"Well, ya know, when aliens are attacking or there's a psycho on the loose, better to be safe than sorry, right?" I asked. His eyes narrowed.

"Yeah...right." 

"Hey, Dad? Do you think my suit would work on Fawn? Varick is a little big, but I really think they should try it!" I frowned a little.

"Well, I don't know how well it would adapt. The suits are built for you, after all."

"It's alright. This is a gift for you, sister. You can keep it with you on Alfheim, if you would like."

"Uh, actually, the suits need to be charged, so it's not really meant for other realm transport," I commented. Quit trying to get her to leave. Her home is HERE. 

"Oh, well, um...is there anyway we could bring it with us? What is it powered by?" 

"Yeah, Dad. Aren't they powered by my crystal?"
