"wow jisung, you're actually awake before noon for once," donghyuck commented as jisung walked into the "dream hangout", as they liked to call it in the palace.
it was a large room filled with beanbags, mini fridges, a whole kitchen, a tv, loads of blankets and more. it was basically a room made for rich people, seeing just how expensive one pillow was. the interior of this room was messy and fun, strongly contrasting the fancy and expensive look of the rest of the palace, apart from jisung's bedroom.
sitting down on one of the beanbags, jisung looked at donghyuck. "i'm awake only because my dad is forcing me to go talk at some event as practice for my future "royal duties as king". and why are you here?"
"am i not allowed to be here?" retorted donghyuck, offended by the younger boy.
"well this is my castle, not yours," replied jisung, resulting in a pillow being thrown at me.
"fucking brat," hyuck mumbled, getting up to get a can of soda from the fridge.
"i'm amazing, i know." jisung flipped his imaginary long hair, as hyuck sat back down on the beanbag in front of him.
as he was looking at jisung, donghyuck's eyes travelled to the mark on his wrist.
"JISUNG YOU HAVE 10 DAYS UNTIL YOU MEE-"
"meet my soulmate? yes, i'm aware and i don't understand why you're so excited about it. you were never so excited before."
"i'm excited because it's literally 10 da- holy shit, you're meeting your soulmate before me."
"okay so? cry about it." jisung chuckled at his hyung's realization.
"b-but i've literally lived longer that you already. this is unfair." he glanced down at his wrist before continuing "i have to wait another year and a half. i can't wait that long- jisung wanna see if we can trade-" donghyuck was cut off by the door opening, revealing mr. lim with a tablet in his hands.
"hello, donghyuck. jisung we have to leave now. i'll have the kitchen staff prepare lunch for you. meet me at the courtyard in 10 minutes."
"oka-"
"yo mr. lim, can i come?" donghyuck asked, hoping to give jisung some company because he knew he hated these types of events.
"i don't see why not," replied mr. lim shortly, walking out into the hall.
"no need to thank me, jisung," donghyuck told the boy who was smiling at him for the small gesture. "i was just coming for the free food anyways."
