chaewon wondered what life choices led her to the situation she was in at the moment.
despite falling asleep later than him, chaewon was up before jisung, shocked to see his arm as her fist view in the morning. she'd tried getting out of his grasp a few minutes prior but couldn't do so without waking him up.
now, after what felt like hours of waiting, chaewon felt jisung stir and stretch his arms, only to freeze when he felt another presence.
his eyes shot open, meeting chaewon's uncomfortable gaze. as much as she longed for a kind soulmate she didn't appreciate being stuck for 20 minutes because of him.

"can you please get off me now?" chaewon deadpanned.
immediately, jisung shot as far away as he could on the bed, sitting up with a visible blush covering his face. the same could be said for the girl in front of him, who realized how close the two actually were to each other now that they weren't touching anymore. jisung was eyeing chaewon, confused.
"don't look at me like that. you did this yourself!"
"huh...? i didn't-" you could tell when jisung remembered his actions from the previous night because all the color immediately disappeared from his face before returning as a deep wave of red.
"i don't know what you're talking about."
"oh so you don't remember calling me pretty, saying you like me and uh k-kissing me all in the span of ten seconds?" it took all of chaewon's willpower to stay calm recalling this.
"y-you're making th-that up." unlike the girl, you could feel jisung's nervousness from a mile away.
"mhmm" jisung didn't admit it out loud, but he was pretty thankful to the soulmate bond for healing him so quickly. admitting that would be indirectly admitting he liked the close contact with chaewon.
"we woke up pretty late, do you wanna ditch or...?"
"let's just ditch 'cause we pretty much missed most of the day so..."
