Yejun was picked up by his grandmother as soon as he finished his schooling. She questioned him on why he was limping, but the little boy have the same answer he told before. "I tripped."
His grandmother nodded and lifted him up from the ground to carry him so that he wouldn't put too much pressure on his leg. He doesn't want his family to worry about him. He feels like a burden. Maybe without him in their lives, Mark would've been able to support himself. But no, since Yejun is here too, his older brother has to look after him as well.
Yejun doesn't know that Mark doesn't blame him for any of this. Nobody knew this would happen. Mark is just a growing teenager, that's all. He's experiencing all these emotions and feelings all at once and he's not sure how to handle them.
But one thing he does know, is that he loves Yejun to pieces and would do anything for him.

Donghyuck was currently sitting on Jeno's lap, waiting for the bell to dismiss them as he whined onto the older's shoulder. Yes, Donghyuck finally warmed up to the older during lunch and the younger found comfort in Jeno's presence. He saw him as another older brother figure like Renjun.
"Hyuck, the bell is about to ring," Renjun told him, pulling the younger's shirt. The two of them found if that Jeno had the same classes after lunch with them.
"No~" Donghyuck whined, clutching onto Jeno tighter as the older just sat there with his arms around the younger's waist, laughing.
"Come on. Let's start getting ready," Renjun tried to convince the younger who finally looked up at the older with a pout.
"Why? Do you find me annoying too? Is that why? Am I bothering you Jeno?" Donghyuck switched glances from Renjun to Jeno and the youngest of the two shook his head no. "You're not a bother at all, neither are you annoying. And when I see that Mark guy, I'm gon-"
The bell rang, interrupting Jeno's words while Donghyuck just gave a weak giggle and a small "thank you," sliding off the boy's lap and grabbing his things. Once he did, he immediately hooked arms with Jeno's while laying his head on the taller's shoulder. Jeno, unlike Renjun at times, always accepts Donghyuck's affection and clinginess.
The older really didn't mind at all. He has two baby sisters who do the same thing every chance they get so it doesn't bother him. He sees Donghyuck as a younger brother who he wants to protect.
Renjun rolled his eyes and grabbed his things, catching up to the two as the three of them made their way to the bus lot. Renjun didn't drive today and took the bus instead with Donghyuck.
They were standing in the bus lot, Renjun practically trying to pull Donghyuck off of Jeno. And once he finally did, the older apologized to Jeno.
"It's all good, he's great company. Renjun, are you busy this weekend?" Jeno asked curiously, Donghyuck's ears perking up at the question.
"N-no," Renjun suddenly became shy as he remembered the conversation he had with Jeno at the winter formal.
"Great! Do you want to see a movie with me?" The younger asked and Renjun nodded his head, uttering a small "yes" in a agreement. "Perfect! I'll tell you the time and day tomorrow if that's okay."
"Of course," Renjun's face beamed bright red while Jeno smiled, waving goodbye as he made his way to his bus with a wide smile. Renjun turned to walk into the bus but was stopped by Donghyuck grabbing his arm, forcing the older to look at him. And once he did, he immediately regretted it as Donghyuck was wiggling his eyes, a small smirk forming on his face.
"So you and Jeno, huh?" Donghyuck said smugly and the older pushed the younger away in embarrassment to walk in the bus, leaving the tanned male who was laughing behind.
Donghyuck was actually feeling a bit better than he was earlier and it was all thanks to his friends. He doesn't know what he'd do without them honestly. Sure, he was still hurt but he's trying to think positively. Besides, he doesn't want to bother his friends anymore about his problems.
He stepped onto the bus and sat next to Renjun, who glared at him with a look that told him not to say anything which caused the younger to raise his hands up in defense with a sly grin.
At the moment, Mark had hopped onto the bus, making Donghyuck look away from him. The older didn't care though (at least not yet he didn't) as he continued walking to his seat.
Renjun noticed this and squinted his eyes in annoyance at the older. He grabbed Donghyuck's head and laid it on his shoulder.
"Don't pay no mind to him. It's his loss, not yours," Renjun told him and the younger nodded with reluctance. "You want to help me pick out an outfit for this weekend later on in the week?"
And that put a smile onto the younger's face who nodded in excitement, lifting his head from Renjun.
"Yes! You're going to look so good that it's going to have Jeno in awe," Donghyuck noted, already having an idea of what to pick out from the older's wardrobe.
"I'll leave it up to you then," Renjun smiled warmly.
"Trust me. You're going to look irresistible," Donghyuck said.
Renjun always knows how to cheer his best friend up and Donghyuck is forever grateful for him.
