Save Your Tears For Another Day ?Markhyuck?||Completed

It was early Monday morning and Mark couldn't fall asleep last night. Yesterday, he had treated Yejun and his friends to some ice cream before returning back to their grandparents house. Although Mark was exhausted from being out all day, he couldn't fall asleep because of a certain golden boy lingering in his mind.

Before he knew it, his alarm was already going off for him to start getting ready for school.

He smacked the alarm off on his clock and let out a long sigh, sliding off of the bed. He went to the bathroom to get ready, brushing his teeth and throwing on his school uniform. He grabbed his phone and school bag, walking over to the front door and slipping on his sneakers.

Before Mark turned the knob of the door, he heard a throat being cleared from behind him. He turned around to spot his grandfather leaning against the wall with a cup in his hand, tapping it with his nails. It took everything in Mark not to snap at the older man as the noise bothered him to point that he tightly shut his eyes and looked away. Mark bowed his head slightly and continued making his way out of the house, letting out a sigh of relief that he didn't know he was holding in.

Once he arrived at school, he headed straight towards his locker where he spotting the boy that was on his mind all night. The other just shut his locker and clung onto this black haired guy's arm whom Mark had never met before. He didn't know why but it irked him to see Donghyuck next to someone so close.

He shrugged the thought off and grabbed his books from his locker and made his way to class.

"So~ how was the date?" Chenle asked his cousin once the friend group was seated at their lunch table.

"Yeah, how was it?" Jeno let a smirk slip onto his lips as he watched the older's face turn a darker shade of red.

"I-it was fun," Renjun said as he buried his face in his hands, Donghyuck teasing the older.

"Just fun? Give me the deat-"

"Some of us don't want to hear the details so drop it, Chenle," Jaemin butted in as everybody stared at him in question, but didn't say anything and instead changed the topic.

Jaemin had been acting strange like this since he did Renjun's makeup on Saturday and Donghyuck was confused as to why. Nonetheless, it wasn't his business to pry in....

at least not just yet.

Donghyuck stood up to throw his tray away, making sure to grab the left over snacks to keep for later. Unfortunately, Mark had gotten up to throw away at the same time. Donghyuck met Mark's eyes and suddenly the older held his hand out as if he was expecting something.

Donghyuck's eyes sharpened, piercing with a glare as he scoffed and walked back to his table leaving Mark awkwardly standing behind until he finally left the cafeteria.

'I'm not giving him crap. If he didn't appreciate it before, then too bad for him.' Donghyuck cursed in his brain.

Despite Donghyuck still having minor feelings for the older, Renjun helped him see the way Mark was mistreating him, the way he'd take advantage of him and use him while at the same time talking about him behind his back. At first, the tanned male didn't want to believe anything his best friend was telling him, but eventually he had to come to terms with it since it was proven to be true and was evidential.

"Hyuck, are you okay?" Renjun questioned once the tanned male sat back down next to him.

Donghyuck just nodded his head and tried to catch up into the conversation, more like debate, Chenle and Jisung were having about which is the best super power to have.

"No, you're wrong! Jeno, which one is better super strength or super speed?" Chenle suddenly threw the question at the older.

"Um I'm already strong so maybe super speed? It varies on different people," Jeno reasoned and Chenle nodded his head with a pout.

"Well when you put it that way...super speed it is because I'm already big and strong!" Chenle said, flexing his arms to which the group laughed at him, making the rainbow haired huff.

"You cant even open a pickle jar," Jaemin said and Chenle scoffed in offence.

"So what?! I can beat anyone in an arm wrestle!" Chenle crossed his arms, cheeks still puffed to which Jisung poked.

"Renjun beat you in an arm wrestle before and you cried, claiming he dislocated your forearm," Donghyuck chuckled and Chenle stood up and stomped to throw his tray away.

Donghyuck watched as the rainbow haired boy crept up behind Jisung, wrapping his arms around the older and jumped on the sitting boy's back, trying to pull him down, but eventually stopped when he realized that Jisung was too strong for him to drag down.

"Curse you all and your demonic strength abilities," Chenle dropped his head against the younger's back, burying his face into it as he held on while everybody laughed at him.

The rest of the school day passed by and it was finally time for dismissal. Donghyuck was walking with Jeno and Renjun, who were holding hands, to their buses.

"I'll text you. See you guys tomorrow," Jeno bid his goodbye while caressing the older's head and leaving as they stepped into the bus.

The two of them were walking home Donghyuck had realized Mark never got off this stop anymore, not that he cares...

They were now faced in front of their doors and stepped inside their own homes. Donghyuck was greeted by his two parents who were in a better mood than usual.

"Hi mom, dad. What's going on?"" Donghyuck greeted with a small smile and gave his parents a kiss on the cheek.

"Son, we have some very important news to share with you," his father started off by saying and Donghyuck face was suddenly apprehensive.

"Is it bad?" Donghyuck asked with a small wince as his parents immediately shook their head no.

"We surely don't think so," his mother perked and rubbed her belly a little which made Donghyuck ponder.

'Please don't be what I think it is...'

"I'm pregnant!" Donghyuck's mother cheered.
