"I miss her too." I frowned.

"...You know, don't you?" She nodded.

"Izzy was pretty heartbroken over you. She told me everything when she came back after those three years." I nodded solemnly.

"...What did she say...back then?"

"That she missed you more than anything. You were her entire world. Whatever you two became, she couldn't be truly happy without it. I assume you feel the same way considering you came up here."

"...Will it always be this hard?" I asked.

"...I don't know." I figured she would answer like that.

"Well...I appreciate the concern, but...I think I would rather be alone right now." She nodded.

"I'll come back if you aren't done by the time Thor leaves. I'm glad that you came, Loki." I gave her a quick smile before turning back again to look around the room. It was hard, but I smiled as I saw a picture of her with the entire team. They had taken it the night she'd returned from Asgard after her two years with me. All of them looked happy, even if Izetta wasn't smiling as brightly as she used to. I could tell she was still happy to be back home. It was obvious and it was true. They were her real family.

Thor's POV

Pepper returned after a short while. The Guardians had also arrived. They stayed for a bit to talk and enjoy themselves. It was nice having everyone together. Suddenly, Tony's phone buzzed. He pulled it up and answered it.

"Hello, Stark speaking." I wondered who was calling him. Everyone was here, after all. Was something going on with one of his businesses? His eyes suddenly widened. He stood up immediately, knocking a few things off the table as he almost fell over while doing so.

"Stark, what is it?" I asked.

"Honey?" Pepper asked.

"What's going on?" Every started questioning him as he ran outside as fast as he could. We all looked at each other before quickly running to catch up with him. As we all rushed outside, we saw him ahead, staring in disbelief. I was about to question him when I saw it too. My heart stopped. I couldn't believe it. None of us could. Impossible...

"Hey, guys. Sorry for showing up late. Realm traffic was terrible today."

Loki's POV

I stayed in her room for a long time. I enjoyed looking over some of her things. Some of them brought back fond memories of her. It was nice. It...it helped. ...I was respectfully looking, of course. Don't get any ideas.

Anyway, after a bit, someone ran down the hallway looking for me. I saw my brother bolt by. It startled me at first.

"LOKI!!" I nearly dropped one of her old robotic creations as his voice shouted down the hallway. "Loki!! Where are you!?" I quickly stood up as I heard him running back toward me and spotting me in her room. "Loki, there you are! Hurry!"

"What's going on? Is something wrong?" I exclaimed, hurrying over to him.

"Y-you..." He was trying to catch his breath. "Y-you need to come with me! Now! Hurry!!" I was startled as he grabbed my arm.

"What is this about-? WHOA!" He dragged me after him as I struggled not to trip from him yanking me along so quickly. "Thor! Answer me! What's going on!?" He was grinning like a fool.

"You aren't going to believe this, Brother!" I was confused as we continued to run outside looking like fools.

"Why are you taking me outside?" He kept yanking me along as I tried to get him to stop and calm down.

"This way!"

"Are you going to tell me why you dragged me out here, or-!?" I stopped as I saw all of Thor's comrades gathered around one person. They were laughing, crying, celebrating like there was no tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the world was silent to me. Everything moved as if it were in water, slowly and almost mesmerizing. My gaze was locked on her. I could no longer breathe. I was frozen in that moment. Then, her eyes met mine. I stared into them, those perfectly beautiful eyes that had entranced me from the moment we'd met.

Time went back to normal as they realized she was no longer paying attention to them. Her attention was solely focused on me. The sunlight behind her cast through her hair, almost making it look like she was glowing. In my eyes, she was. She was an angel returned to me.

They parted, making a path for her. She walked toward me with a pure and sweet smile of blissful joy on her lips. Her hands were in her pockets. She was dressed casually, but that didn't matter to me. She stopped about four feet away from me. Her lips curled into that perfectly quirky smirk of hers. I felt like I was dreaming, but her voice made me understand. This was real. This was right in front of me. This was no longer a fantasy, it was a wish come true.

"Hey, troublemaker."
