"jisung, get up." chenle grabbed the sleeping boy's arm trying to see the tattoo, but he just snatched it back and turn the other way, covering his head with his comforter. chenle groaned and slowly climbed onto the king-sized bed. creeping up over the younger's figure, he put his  mouth right by his ear and let out a small scream, which woke jisung right up.

"AH!" jisung yelped and fell out of bed, hitting the ground with a loud thud. he looked up at his chinese friend laughing, a pissed look settling on his face. "what the fuck was that for?"

immediately, chenle reached forward and grabbed jisung's wrist, realizing what he had come here for. still too sleepy to resist, jisung didn't snatch his hand away. then he saw it. the crown.

it was a tiny rounded crown, filled in completely black and it looked like it was doodled, just like chaewon had mentioned.

seeing this, a sad smile appeared on chenle's face. sure, he was happy that two of his friends were soulmates, but they didn't start off their bond really well. because of jisung's attitude towards soulmates, he felt bad for chaewon. chenle hadn't known her for long, but he could tell that that she was really excited about her soulmate. 'ofc this dumbass had to ruin it.'

now fully awake, jisung processed what chenle was doing and pulled his hand away. "why are you looking at my wrist? i know i have nice hands but i didn't know you were into tha-"

"your soulmate tattoo. did you look at it?"

jisung got up from the floor and stared down at chenle. "i thought you were over this. why do you suddenly care?"
