"Thank goodness, I could finally get out from this place. Either way Nathan."

"Sir?."

"What is the update on my work place after my accident?" I asked but I didn't know what my true position was because there should be a variety of types of governor like governor-general, state governor, or provincial governor, so I couldn't say "update on the current issues in the province?" because it might be a state like in the US, so I'm totally fucked if that were indeed the case, or I could just joke it out by playing a person with amnesia, but I rejected the thought.

"Matter about province governor? Everything... is fine at the moment."

Hold up... Why did you paused? That's a bit disturbing.

"Tell me the truth."

Nathan hesitated, then a bitter expression plastered on his face. Then he took a deep breath in before exhaling.

"Governor, three days ago, after you were officially appointed by the prime minister as the governor of Cignus, on the very same day you got into an accident... a few hours later, walls of light manifested on the horizon, followed by the loss of contact with our fatherland."

"What...? I don't understand the point nathan."

So kinda three days ago I got appointed as governor and the very same day I got into an accident. However, I don't get what he meant by walls of light or lost contact. Did some telco get the internet signal messed up?

"I wanted to tell you immediately about the current status of the province. However, we are concerned about your physical and mental health after that accident, so we postponed, but it seems you're alright Governor, so I shall report it brief." Then he got his laptop and immediately faced it at me. He displayed several photos of a bridge that seemed strangely connected to a cliff or flatlands with asphalt roads, but on the other side there was a thick forest where the roads weren't connected, as if they were cut off? What's this? I'm confused.

"Do you find anything strange?"

"Yes, obviously. Did you get this in internet?." I'm talking about this crappy photoshop or made by some stupid ass engineer and then posted it on the internet.

But Nathan shook his head. "No, this is taken from our border. Governor."

"Ha...?." What do you mean? Did the last governor hire some amateur engineer while sniffing a pile of cocaine when they were making these kinds of projects?

"It's already been released to the public on what happened on the border via radio and television, because social media was already down after losing contact with the fatherland, but we managed to find a way after the provincial office temporarily took over a broadcasting station of National TV. One conclusion we have right now is that we were transported to a different part of our world. Another world? Isekai huh? Well, I do have a status checking table in front of me, so I guess it's true... The problem is, who am I in the first place? I vaguely recall being a college student and a human from the world called Earth, but that was it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I can't even remember my... name? Then a flashback happened. I'm facing a pretty cute girl with waist-length black hair... "Oliver...? I'm so sorry." At that moment, something made me dawn in realization.

"Keh?!." My head hurts as I put my hands on my head to ease the pain. Also, Nathan, who noticed me, was surprised. "Governor?! Call the doctor back now! "
