Waking up from her slumber, Mila stretched her arms and stared dazedly at her room. "It's been a while," she murmured to herself-almost half a year, to be exact. She took a deep breath and let it out before a light knock on the door broke the silence.

"Crown Princess Adelaide Mila," came the voice from the other side. "May we enter?"

"Yes," Mila replied as she slowly got out of bed. The sleepiness still buzzing at her, and she felt an overwhelming urge to lay back into slumber.

The door creaked open, and a woman in a black coat, accompanied by two maids, entered. "Anna," Mila greeted. Anna had been her attendant back in Cignus and was now with her in her home country.

"Good morning, Lady Mila," Anna said, bowing. The maids looked visibly disturbed by the informal tone, as it was not up to their usual standards of propriety.

"We will prepare you for breakfast with His Excellency President Oliver and Empress Dahlia II," Anna informed her.

"Understood," Mila said. She stood as the maids began to assist her in changing into her bath clothes. Once dressed, she headed to the bath-a large, luxurious pool. She waved her hands to signal the maids to leave her alone, then stepped into the water. After removing her light clothes, she used magic to float them, allowing them to dry.

Her red hair was soaked, and she submerged further, her mouth just below the water's surface. She blew bubbles through the water as a way to pass the time.

"Oliver," Mila murmured as she curled up like a baby in the water, her almost transparent body shimmering with the light. She glanced at her reflection and thought about how she had never seen Oliver so enraged before. While she had seen him annoyed, irritated, and even having some mild outbursts, this was different. He seemed like an entirely different person, forcing her to hesitate to contact him for the last 2 days.

She shrugged off those thoughts and snapped her fingers, causing soap to appear and lather her body automatically, creating bubbles. Without the need for maids, she used magic to easily clean her back.

After finishing her scrubbing, she splashed herself in the pool and muttered to herself, "At least I should be able to stop him from razing the continent to the ground." She clicked her tongue, thinking that Oliver was more likely to burn things down than to talk them through. Moreover, while Cignus maintained a defensive stance, the other countries were overly aggressive and paranoid. "Too many countries are making mistakes and provoking Cignus unnecessarily," she resigned as she left the bath. Though, she can't deny the fact - it's all Oliver's fault. He's to rigid to follow their norms - Pandora's common sense, and seen as abnormal, dangerous, and unpredictable polity.

Dressed in a gown, Mila walked to the dining room, accompanied by Anna and followed by escorting maids. "Anna, shouldn't you have stayed in Cignus?" she asked, starting a conversation.

"Umm, His Excellency didn't say a word, nor did Lord Nathan, so I came with you," Anna replied. "Also, I am your attendant until I get dismissed. Thus, I should go wherever you go, my lady."

"I see," Mila said softly. "This will probably be the last time you'll accompany me," she added cryptically.

"Pardon?" Anna uttered in confusion as they entered the room. Anna stepped aside with the maids as Mila walked towards the dining table, where Oliver was already seated and talking with Empress Dahlia, her mother.

"Greetings to the Matriarch of the Sun, Empress Dahlia II, and Your Excellency Oliver, Sovereign President of Cignus," Mila said formally.

Her mother nodded in acknowledgment, and Oliver glanced at her briefly. Just looking at him made Mila a little uncomfortable, remembering how enraged he had been days ago. Reluctantly and unexpectedly, Oliver commented, "Good morning. It looks good to you."
