"Can you promise me one more thing?" Beomgyu asked in a whisper.
"Only if you also promise me something." The older replied, still laid down in the hospital bed.
"Go on first." The smaller boy said, his hand holding Yeonjun's. "No, you were the first to talk. Go on." Yeonjun smiled. He genuinely smiled.
"Promise me you'll go to rehab." Beomgyu spoke. He didn't see the need to tiptoe around Yeonjun anymore, so he's just honest. Because they both need that. They need a true conversation.
"I promise. Promise me you'll see a therapist and that we're starting over again." Yeonjun breathed.
"Right, I promise." The youngest muttered, a slight smile on his face.
"Well, nice to meet you. My name is Choi Yeonjun." The older smirked. "Nice to meet you, Yeonjun. I'm Choi Beomgyu."
"I hope we can be friends."

Four months passed since the two boys decided to start over.
Honestly, they haven't been talking a lot since then, simply because Yeonjun was in rehabilitation and Beomgyu was continuing his life as a student who currently see a therapist.
Beomgyu even has a new roommate, a young student named Chanhee who seemed to get along well with Changmin. The said boy had visibly moved on and understood that Beomgyu and him would never be a thing.
So it's been four month they haven't seen each other and only texted each other a few times.
But this morning of a gentle April's day, Beomgyu received a text of Yeonjun telling him to find him at the café near the college. He never felt so happy in his life.
He tried to convince himself he'll just see a friend, but his heart was beating a way too fast.

Yeonjun
Maybe Yeonjun had failed his year because he succeeded none of his exams and decided to give up school, but for the first time, he can truly say he's feeling fine.
It was obviously hard to stay sober, and sometimes he drank and smoked again, but he could proudly say rehabilitation went well.
And even more proudly, he invited Beomgyu today to announce him something : he found a job.
He, Choi Yeonjun, was now a barista.
He smiled at his reflection in the mirror before starting to work. Today is going to be a great day, the boy thought.

Beomgyu
When Beomgyu walked into the café, a young woman gasped when she saw him. "It's you ! You're Choi Beomgyu, right?" She exclaimed.
Seeing Beomgyu perplexed expression, she spoke again. "Yeonjun oppa told me to tell you to sit and that he'll come soon!" She giggled then before leading the still perplexed boy to a table.
'What the hell?' Beomgyu thought.
Then he waited for almost ten minutes. He started to wonder where his hyung was or if he ditched him. But then he remembered that the waitress talked about Yeonjun. 'He's going to come soon.' Beomgyu reassured himself.
Still deep in his thoughts, Beomgyu didn't notice a waiter walk to his table. "Sir, do you want something?" The man asked, making Beomgyu jump. Yet his eyes stayed glued on his lap. "No, I'm waiting for a friend." He replied without looking at the man.
"Are you sure, Sir?" The man talked again. That's when it hit him.
He knew this voice.
He looked up, and his eyes lighted up. "Yeonjun !" He exclaimed, standing up to hug his friend. "Sir, you can't do that in the middle of my shift." Yeonjun giggled, hugging the younger back nonetheless.
Beomgyu took a step back, a little embarrassed. "So...hum...you found a job ?" He asked, scratching his neck. "Yep! And I moved in my parents' house again. They're happy to see me again." Yeonjun smiled.
"They're happy to see the real you again." Beommie whispered quietly.
"I'm also happy to see the real me again."
