Season 1 Episode 7: Full Moon (Creepy AF)

It was a couple weeks after the Valentine's Day fiasco. Vivienne was avoiding Buck and no one except Chimney and Hen knew why. It was extremely hard for the Nash girl to do especially since they're partners at work. Bobby decided to ask Hen and Chimney. "Hey, do either of you know why Gracie has been avoiding Buck for the last 2 weeks?" Bobby asked the two. The two looked at each other. "We do." Chimney said to his captain. "But we've been sworn to secrecy. We can't say anything." Hen tells him. Bobby frowned. "I hope whatever it is, doesn't happen tonight. It's a full moon." Bobby said to them. The duo groaned. "I hate full moons." Chimney complained. Vivienne walked in at that moment with a smile on her face. "Good morning everyone." She greeted her father and best friends. "You're in a good mood." Chimney said as he observed her. Vivienne smiled at her best friend. "It's been a good morning so far. Someone paid for my breakfast this morning when I went to the diner by my apartment and then I got free coffee today." Vivienne said as she went to change her clothes. Hen, Bobby, and Chimney all glanced up top and saw Buck who arrived less than 30 minutes ago. "How much do you want to bet, he paid for her breakfast this morning?" Hen asked the two. "He totally did. But she's not talking to him." Chimney agreed. "Sometimes I regret making him her partner. Other times I'm proud." Bobby admits.

Later that night, the team went to a call at the arcade where a little girl was stuck inside the machine. Buck and Vivienne went inside to get the little girl out. "All right, folks. Coming through. Excuse me, please." Buck said as he and the Nash girl made their way over. "Hi." The mother said to them. "Hi. What are you doing there? I'm gonna have to take you out if that's okay with you?" Buck said to the little girl, causing Vivienne's heart to melt, even if she was mad at him. The little girl nods her head. "All right. You'll be fine." Buck tells her as Vivienne begins taking the screws out of the side panel. Once the Nash girl got the window open, Buck got the little girl out. "Hi. Are you ready? Yeah? Watch your head. Oh, I got you. I got you." Buck said as he carried the little girl over to the mother. "Thank you. I can't believe they didn't have a key for this." The mother said to them. "Don't worry. It's one of those nights." Buck tells her. Vivienne grabs the little stuffed cow. "Congratulations on your moo-moo." Vivienne said softly as she handed the little girl the stuffed cow. The little girl smiled at Vivienne and the Nash girl smiled back.

After they got done at the arcade, they walked along the pier as they made their way back to the truck. "Hey, I got to make a call is that okay?" Buck asked Vivienne. The girl nods her head. "Yeah, that's okay. Do what you have to do." Vivienne said softly to him. They continue to walk along the pier to the truck, as Vivienne hears Buck talking to Abby. She frowns at how happy he is while talking to the dispatcher. She giggles as he starts howling into the phone. The two make their way back to Vivienne's father. Bobby looked at his daughter and then at Buck, who was still on the phone with Abby. "Everything okay with you two?" Bobby asked his daughter. Vivienne nods her head. "Of course, why wouldn't they be?" Vivienne asked her father. Bobby looked at Buck and then his daughter. "Just curious." He said to his daughter. Buck came over to the father daughter duo.

After the arcade, Bobby had Vivienne go with Hen and Chimney for the rest of the shift so she didn't have to deal with Buck. "Still awkward with Buck?" Hen asked her from the driver's seat of the ambulance. "Yep. Still awkward." Vivienne confirmed to her best friend. The trio arrived at the next call. "They called you for a prowler?" Athena asked the three. "Homeowner has a heart condition." Vivienne tells her. "Well, you three are traveling light." Athena commented as her, Vivienne, Hen, and Chimney go towards the house. "Yeah, a full moon. Only way to survive is divide and conquer." Chimney tells Athena. "Hm, I believe it's your enemy you're supposed to divide, not yourself. All right, I'ma check around back." Athena said as they walked together. "Okay." Hen said to her. "Is that what that means?" Chimney asked his best friends. Hen gives him a look as the trio enters the house. "Paramedics!" Vivienne shouts as they enter. "The paramedics are here. Thank you Abby." The elderly woman said to Abby. "You're welcome, Mrs. Curtis." Vivienne hears Abby say to the woman. "Nora." She tells Abby. They got Nora to sit in the chair as Vivienne takes her blood pressure and vitals. "While I was waiting for you, he just seemed to disappear." Nora tells the trio. "Everything's going to be okay." Hen tells her softly. "Blood pressure's dropping." Vivienne tells Hen. "Was I having a heart attack?" Nora asked her. "No, no, no. Looks more like a panic attack." Chimney tells her softly. "He gave me such a fright... standing out there... just staring." Nora said to him. "You're okay, now. All right? Now, ma'am, I want you to breathe for me, nice and slow, not too deep, and when you exhale, I want you to purse your lips like this." Vivienne tells her as she demonstrates. "Okay." Nora said to her. "Full moon. Brings out the creeps and the crazies." Chimney said to them. Vivienne and Hen then noticed the window. "Ma'am, is this where you were standing when you saw the man outside?" Hen asked the woman. "Yes." Nora tells her. "Ma'am, I'm Sergeant Grant. If there was someone outside, they're gone now." Athena tells the woman. "Thank you." Nora tells her. "Thena." Vivienne called the Grant woman over to her and Hen. "Hmm." Athena looks at the two. The duo motioned for Athena to come over to them. "Yeah?" Athena asked quietly. "It looks to you like anybody has been outside?" Vivienne asked her quietly. "No. I mean the ground's wet. I didn't see any footprints." Athena tells her quietly. "We did." Hen said to her quietly. The trio looked down and saw the muddy footprints. "She says that she was standing pretty much right over here." Vivienne said as they went to where the woman was standing earlier. "He was in the house." Athena said quietly. "Standing right behind her." Hen said quietly. "Okay. I just got the chills." Athena said to them. "He didn't attack her, though." Vivienne said quietly. "Maybe that wasn't his intent or maybe when she called 911 it spooked him, but it looks like he came in the front door." Athena said softly. Vivienne and Hen looked at each other as Athena spoke to the elderly woman. "Ma'am, uh, you mind if I take a look around the inside?" Athena asked her. "Oh, no, go ahead." Nora tells her as Chimney took her vitals again. "Is there somewhere else you can stay tonight? Someone you can call?" Athena asked her. "Why? You think he's coming back?" Nora asked Athena. "You've been through a lot tonight. It might be best if you had some company, that's all." Athena tells her. "I could call my daughter." Nora said to them. "That's a great idea." Vivienne said to her. "All clear here. Pulse is good." Chimney said to them as they got another call in. "P/R, unconscious male. MacArthur Park. Subject appears to be unresponsive." The dispatcher on the radio said as Chimney responds. "Copy. Paramedic 118 responding." Chimney said to the dispatcher. "That's a dicey neighborhood. I'll give you a police escort." Athena said to the trio. "Thanks." Hen said to the Grant woman. "Ma'am, I have an officer out front. He'll stay there until your daughter picks you up." Athena tells Nora. "That's wonderful. Thank you." Nora said as Athena goes to leave. "Remember to breathe." Hen tells her. "I will. Thank you." Nora said to them. "Absolutely. You just rest, okay?" Chimney tells her as he got their stuff. "You're good now." Vivienne tells her softly. "Thank you three." Nora tells the trio. The trio began to walk to the truck. "You two want to tell me what that was about?" Chimney asked them. "We'll tell you in the truck." Vivienne tells him.
