Season 3 Episode 6: Monsters

Vivienne sat in the engine as they went to a corn maze for their first call of the day for Halloween. She can hear the crows cawing out. "We need help!" The kids on the bus said as they walk towards the bus. "Two of my students, they were attacked by crows. They're trapped in there." The teacher on the bus said to Bobby as she pointed to the barn as the crows were sitting outside. Vivienne tries not to giggle. "I think I've seen this movie." Chimney said to them. Vivienne glanced at him. "Me too, Howie." Vivienne said to him. Chimney gave her an appreciative smile. "See, this is why you're my best friend. You get my movie references. No offense, Hen." Chimney said to their other best friend. Hen smiles. "None taken." Hen smiled. Bobby turns to them. "Okay, let's gear up. Turnouts and head protection. Let's go." Bobby said to them. Vivienne runs off as Eddie walks after her. "Are you sure you should be doing this, Vivi?" Eddie asked her softly, making sure no one was around. Vivienne stops and looks at him. "Eddie, I'm fine." Vivienne said to him. Eddie looks at her. "I know, but this could be dangerous." He said softly. Vivienne looks at him. "Ed's, if anyone finds out right now, they'll force me to stop working and I don't want to." Vivienne admitted. "Just be careful." Eddie said softly. "I promise." Vivienne said as she kissed him softly. 

The team moves slowly towards the barn as they try and not disturbed the crows. Chimney's name tag fell off his uniform as he groaned. He went to pick it up. "Damn clasp." He mumbles. "It's fine, Chim. Forget the name tag." Hen tells him. "We all know who you are, anyway." Vivienne giggles softly. They continued walking to the barn. "This is weird. You see crows all over the city. Never heard about them attacking anybody." Eddie said to them. "And that's because crows are vey docile." Hen said as she and Vivienne share a look. "They don't attack unless they're provoked." Vivienne finished Hen's sentence. "No sudden movements, and we should be good." Hen continues. Chimney loses his name tag again. "Damn it." He said as the crow caws and moves over towards them. Everyone looks at the crow. "Just leave it, Chim." Bobby said softly. "Copy that." Chimney said quietly. "Everybody stay calm." Bobby said as they moved forward. Vivienne stayed back for a minute as she picked up Chimney's name tag. She moved slowly toward's the crow. "Hello, little guy. I have a small favor. Can you follow this person around for me today?" She asked the crow. The crow cawed at her in understanding. Vivienne smiled. "Thank you." Vivienne said softly to the crow. She drops the tag at the crow. "Gracie!!" Bobby calls after his daughter. "Coming dad. I gotta go, buddy." Vivienne said to the crow. 

They went into the building. "Over here. Dean's cut up real bad." The boy said to them. "How bout you, you okay?" Bobby said to the boy. "Yeah, I think so." Riley said to him. "Eddie, check him out." Bobby tells his daughter's boyfriend. "All right, kiddo, let's get you up so we can take a look." Chimney said as he, Hen, and Vivienne sat him up. They look and saw a nasty cut on the back of Dean's neck. "All right, let's get those irrigated, and make sure no major arteries were hit." Vivienne said to Chimney and Hen.  "Major arteries? Am I gonna die?" Dean asked her. Bobby and Chimney gave Vivienne a look. "Look, she was just kidding buddy." Chimney said to calm him down. "So, Dean, tell us, those crows just attacked you guys outta nowhere?" Hen asked him. "It was crazy. Tell 'em Riley." Dean said as he looked at Riley. "Uh, yeah, it was like they were possessed or something." Riley said unsure of his answer. "You sure it didn't have anything to do with those rocks you guys threw at them?" Vivienne asked them angrily. "He did it." Riley fessed up. "Liar!" Dean shouted. "I tried to stop him!" Riley said. "Shut up!" Dean said to Riley. "Cap." Chimney waved Bobby over. They see the crows over by the monkey bars. "They know we're in here." Chimney whispered. "No, they know they're in here." Hen said with a glare. "Crows are smart. And they hold grudges." Vivienne said with smirk as Hen cleans Dean's cuts. "You both think they're waiting for these boys to come out." Bobby stated. "They're been know to remember the faces of their tormentors years later and still attack." Hen stated. "Murder by crows, great." Chimney said with sarcasm in his voice. Vivienne looks at him. "Really Howie?" She asked. Chimney shrugged. "How do we get these guys past them?" Eddie asked. "Well, they're looking for two kids." Vivienne shrugged. "We give 'em something else." Bobby said as he looked at Chimney. Chimney sighed.
