I put in my earpiece, listening to whatever my commander was talking about to himself.

I made my way outside of the club, where it grew quieter, and quieter, until I could firmly hear his voice now.

"Agent 003? Can you hear me? Are you there?" He asked, and I cleared my throat.

"Done, it's in." I brushed my hands together, see, took me like, twenty minutes, not even an hour was needed.

"I saw, good job on that, I'm tracing his phone down now, come quickly back to our hideout." My boss spoke, and I abided with that, sure, I may be strapped with a gun, but you never know what people can get up to.

With that, I made my way back towards the small building, a short distance away from the club, and upon entry, I took my gun off my thigh, spinning it around my fingers as I walked over to the main room.

I leant against a wall, looking at what the other guys were working with.

"Struck gold, just look at all of this." One of the main hackers, Jaewook, scrolled through the dozens of logs of chats talking about the next massive drug shipments.

"You're too good Hikari, seriously, our best agent." My boss pat me on the shoulder, staring at the scene on the computer of Jaewooks.

The federal police had already been notified about the next drug shipment, so therefore, they could easily appear on the night all the drugs enter the border, and shut it down - and with that - catch the druglord himself.

Speaking of which, I bet he was crying over me not coming back to him.

"Well, that's tonights job shut down. We leave it to the federals now." My boss concluded it at that, meaning my job for tonight was finished, and I could go home and rest.

-

My life was rather eventful, being an agent meant that I spent alot of time in different regions of Korea, seeing different people, shooting, all of that.

I've seen it all really, and as much as I love my job, there's no better feeling than coming home, lazing down in your pyjamas and watching a show on the tv.

That is exactly what I was doing right now, it was nearing three in the morning, and I was just watching whatever was playing on the tv, while scrolling on my phone.

I didn't have a relationship, and I didn't have a family, the only occasion I have someone come over, is when the neighbours cat claws at my balcony door, begging for me to let her in.

But other than that, nothing, nobody. And I don't find myself complaining really.

Suddenly throughout the intermission of ads, it cut off abruptly to a spontaneous news break.

I sat up, placing my phone to the side and furrowing my brows. Since when was news so urgent that it had to play at three in the morning?

I watched intently, wondering what it was now.

"BREAKING NOW: Police have been called to a ransacked building where fifteen deceased bodies were found. Police rule it out as a murder, and from the news we have right now, it is apparent that it may be from one of the most infamous mafia clans in Korea." The reporter stated, and I raised a brow, the screen panning to a clip of fifteen body bags, forensics and police at the scene.

Damn, so they struck again.

It was no surprise that something like this happened. At this rate, you could probably go outside and ask a random stranger what they think of this, and they'll shrug it off - because simply - it's the norm nowadays.

It's the warning of a certain mafia clan, matter of fact, a specific one.

I could conclude myself that it was only one clan that could have done this. One man who controlled it all, and was the root cause of all these heinous murders.

Sim Jaeyun.

Nobody knew what he looked like, everybody only knew his name and the brutality he carried around with him.

I wanted to track him down, possibly find where the hell he hangs around and who his men are, but despite my pleads to my boss - he refused to let me.

And I fully understood, the things he's done? Honestly psychopathic behaviour, and I would not want to be one of his victims at all.

But still, druglord cases, and underground mob cases were a bore to me. It wasn't exciting, and it wasn't something big.

It was always the same, repetitive, cycle.

Cutting me out of my thoughts, my phone rang, and I picked it up, seeing it was from my boss. Oh, speak of the devil himself.

I knew he was going to talk about the sudden news of Jaeyun's strike back, and I just hoped that he'd actually let me take control of this situation, but my hopes were very slim, and hearing his tone of voice, I knew that he probably wasn't going to let me.
