Jake continued walking around the cellar, his hands behind his back while in a state of short thought. He stopped abruptly, staring at me.

"Who is Jaewook to you then?" He suddenly mentioned Jaewook, and I came back to realisation that Jaewook was still basically held hostage in some room away from us.

"Why do you care?" I inquired, a little arrogance coming from my words. Jake raised his brows slightly, a smirk curving onto his lips.

"You have attitude, considering you just kissed me." He gave a light scoff as I rolled my eyes.

Good going Hikari.

"Alright, quit the games, let Jaewook go." I didn't spare any time to continue with this conversation with him.

"Mmm, what is he, important to you?" Jake slowly began walking up to me, and I swear, this guy was getting on my nerves now.

I rubbed my face in annoyance, I pulled my gun up to face him, and he continued walking towards me, grabbing it his hand and moving it to his neck.

"Oh, please do shoot me." He gave a chuckle, knowing that I wasn't going to shoot him anyways.

I rolled my eyes, letting my arm down.

"Meet your end of the deal." I stared at his face intently as he did so too.

"You're right, it'd be wrong of me to not hold up my end." Jake chuckled, heading upstairs as I briefly followed him.

He guided me to another room, and it was a lounge area, guarded by two men, masked up, armed with guns. Jake unlocked the door, heading inside as I followed beside.

It was real nice in here, like, reaaal nice. Jaewook was sat on a sofa, looking very uncomfortable and tense. He didn't touch the drink on the table, nor any of the expensive looking pastries on there.

He was like, holding his breath, but to be fair, I'd feel the same. You're in this room, two men guarded the door outside, two men guarded inside.

It must be awkward as hell.

As he saw me come in, his tense state eased immediately. He stood up in an instant, eyes widened.

"Hikari! I mean-" In the moment he said my surname, it wouldn't make a difference because Jake already knew.

"You're going." I simply told him, coldly, Jaewook's face softened a little bit, wondering what the hell was going on.

"What? What about you?" Jaewook came closer to me, and as he tried to continue getting answers out of me, I just stared at his face, confused, irritated and annoyed.

"Don't worry about me, you're going back home now." I reiterated, Jaewook had no words, just staring at me.

"But- Hikari you can't just-" Before Jaewook could finish his sentence, Jake clicked his fingers once, and the two men guarding in the room, grabbed Jaewook by either arms, dragging him out of the room.

He tried to yell, resist and what not, but as soon as the door closed after him, nothing could be heard.

Jake head over to the bar in the room, pouring himself some liquor. He turned around, looking at me and gently raising his glass.

"Would you like some?" He offered, okay, if we weren't in this circumstance right now, I would probably say yes, but in this moment - it's probably not a good idea.

I shook my head, a little alarmed by his utter nonchalance and carelessness with what just happened.

He sat down after pouring himself a glass, I had no idea what to do. Jake clearly noticed this, and looking up at me, giving a light chuckle.

"You're wondering what I'm going to do with you, aren't you?" He broke the tense silence, and I just observed his face.

He leant back on the sofa, leaning his head back to stare at the ceiling while giving a small sigh.

After a short moment of silence, he looked over at me, swirling his liquor in his glass.

"Work with me." Jake finally gave me an answer on what I was even here for.

Subconsciously, my lips let out a scoff. I crossed my arms at his order.

"You think I'll willingly work with you?" I chuckled at his words. Jake sat up at my rejection, staring at my face, intrigued.

"It'd be a shame if your colleagues all end up dead too, let me think, who else can I target?" Jake sucked his teeth for a second, thinking. Damn, this guy was evil, "It's difficult, considering you have no close relatives."

I clenched my jaw, remaining as cool as I possibly could. So, shooting this guy in the dick right now would kill me, however, it would give me some joy while I would still be alive.

"Mm, maybe we should bring Jaewook back, I think it'd be fun to watch him." Jake was about to take a sip of his drink, but with a swift movement, I shot his glass.

The liquor ran down his pants, and the glass shattered. He shot his head to look at me, a slight furrow in his brows as I just glared back at him.

"Take it as a warning Jake, our kiss meant nothing - I'm not on your side, but for this sake, I have no choice." I responded as a smirk caressed his face, he stood up, walking over to me and opening the door.

"Pleasure working with you, Hikari." Jake lowly spoke, heading out of the door.
