The car pulled up at a street lined with houses on either side. They'd arrived at Hobi's place.
Sharing a look, Milly and Jin nodded at each other, a silent wish of good luck. Gathering her courage, Milly stepped out of the car. While doing so, her eyes met Namjoon. She nodded at him once too, not knowing what else to do and in an attempt to reassure herself. At least he hadn't fled out of the vehicle as soon as they stopped.
Swiftly, Milly crossed the street and soon reached the right house. She knocked on the door, only then realising she hadn't thought about what to say. As quick as she could, Milly racked her brain for any useful information and made up her mind.
The door opened and Hoseok cocked his head to the side at the sight of the girl. "Hello?"
"Hi, Hobi right?" Milly began a little awkwardly.
His eyes went wide and his body shrank back a little. "How do you know that name?" Only his friends used that name.
Milly rushed to answer, not meaning to creep him out. "I am a friend of Jin." It was a small risk, as she wasn't exactly sure how he would react to that name either.
It seemed, however, to flush away most of the weariness, but the confusion on his face remained.
"Jin?" He wasn't asking Milly to confirm it; Hobi seemed to test out the estranged name.
"Listen, I know it's sudden but you need to meet him. We're all in danger!" It sounded insane and if it was any other than Hobi, they would've declared Milly mad.
"He's here?" A glint appeared in his eyes.
"Yes, in that car. Are you coming?"
It took him only one second to comply. Simply because it was Hobi.
His footsteps followed her speeding ones to the car across the street. He went to the backseat as Milly entered the front.
Jin drove off immediately, for an instant Milly wondered if he had talked with Namjoon in the time she'd been away.
"Glad you're safe, Hobi." Jin commented with a quick smile through the rearview mirror, before focusing back on the road ahead. Hoseok gaped from Jin to Namjoon to Milly. Once he found his voice he spoke; "So, we really are in danger?"
"I'm sorry, there is no time to explain yet." Milly answered before anyone else could.
Jin turned into the road behind the hospital and stopped.
"Be quick" Jin told Milly and with that, she exited the car.
