Taehyung had to deal with the issue that is his dad.
After some brainstorming (with Milly and Yoongi's turned-down idea of beating the guy to a pulp), Namjoon suggested he could go to this organisation he had found. They specialised in helping with cases like his, cases of domestic abuse.
It took some encouragement from the others to persuade Taehyung. Not because he didn't think it would help, but because he was scared.
He gave in when Jin proposed to just talk to those people first and go from there. His sister called a few days after Taehyung had his first meeting with the organisation. It turns out she had a great time staying with Hobi's aunt. They really got along and became quite close.
Although the aunt was initially confused when Taehyung's sister moved in, she was kind enough to let her stay after the situation was explained.
A huge weight fell off Taehyung's shoulders, knowing his sister was doing well.As for his father, Taehyung had cut all contact with him. The people from the organisation were helping him take his father to court.
He was anxious about it, but at the same time, he felt empowered and free.=❣=
Jimin had to deal with the issue of the hospital.
In theory, this was fairly simple to resolve. Jimin had become of age and could legally make his own decisions. Which meant he'd only have to sign some papers and be done with those doctors.
The only problem with that was that Jimin was too terrified to go back there. Scared of the doctors, the place itself and the trauma attached to it.
Milly asked if it would help if they all went with him like he had 7 bodyguards, so nothing could touch him.
The image it created in Jimin's mind made him giggle, already feeling better. So that's what they did.
Each one of them supported Jimin in their way.
Jin helped him find the words he lost, Yoongi helped him to be firm, Namjoon helped him fill in the right forms, Hobi calmed him down if he began to panic, Taehyung never strayed from his side, and Jungkook and Milly pretended to be actual bodyguards making him laugh.
When it was all said and done, they held a small party at the campsite to celebrate his discharge. At last, Jimin had sent a carefully written letter to his parents to round things up.
They tried to contact him after that, but Jimin simply didn't respond.=❣=
Yoongi had to deal with his miscommunications.
While it was not his fault that people misunderstood him, the way he responded to that could use some work.
The idea of talking to a therapist was brought up, but Yoongi was not keen on the idea. It seemed like a waste of time to him and a set-up to failure.
Jimin thought it would be a good idea if he could figure out a way to freely express himself. Taehyung told them he had heard about people turning to art for that sort of thing. To which Yoongi responded with, "I am not about to paint." His nose wrinkled in disgust.
However, there was something else that piqued his interest. After Jungkook mentioned his love for music, Yoongi surprised everyone the next day by presenting a half-written song.
It quickly became clear that music served as a powerful outlet for him to express his emotions.
Additionally, he made a conscious effort to try and be patient and understanding with others, allowing them, in return, to understand him.=❣=
Hobi had to deal with his mother who abandoned him as a kid.
It was a deep hurt that wouldn't go away in a few days, everyone knew that. The least they could do was try and help Hobi process what happened.
Milly wondered if he had talked about it with his aunt.
He tried to in the past, but his aunt didn't want to talk about what happened.
He decided he wanted to try and ask her again, one last time.
Jimin went with him and told his aunt they weren't leaving without answers. She was surprised the boy was serious about that, after some futile attempts to avoid the topic.
With some reluctance, she gave in and told them what she knew.It wasn't an epic story, it just simply sucked.
His mother was depressed, couldn't bear to care for Hobi any longer, left him at the park, called his aunt to pick him up and vanished from their lives. She had been young and not ready to have kids, yet was thrown into the deep end. It caused a rift in Hobi and his aunt's relationship.
Hobi could now see that she tried her best, without experience, while being reminded of her sister every time she looked at him.But the thing that helped him out the most was the fact it wasn't his fault, he just had a shitty mother.
He used to think it was his fault people were leaving his life, especially last year when his friends had a fallout.
But Jin came back. They all did.
