"I'm a bit overwhelmed," I uttered as I reread the concessions list, contemplating its content and implications with outmost seriousness. The information here isn't something I can play around and scoff off or delegate to Nathan or my subordinates.

Empress Dahlia II observed me keenly, her expression unreadable. She seemed to wait patiently for my response, her demeanor was truly a blend of confidence and restraint.

"I must say, this proposal is quite good," I continued, finally breaking the silence. "However, it's quite generous. The plot of land you're ceding is essentially the size of several countries. Won't there be resistance from the locals?" I asked her pointedly. "To rip away such vast territories, including the entire southern and western regions of the empire?"

"That's precisely why we're relinquishing them," she responded, a hint of a smile playing at her lips. "These territories have been too powerful and too independent for us to effectively control and maintain."

"So, you're essentially passing on the most troublesome part to us," I mused.

"Isn't this a win-win solution?" she suggested calmly. "We can rid ourselves of unnecessary, independent, and defiant territories that we lack the resources to control effectively. This allows us to focus our efforts on the central and northern regions of our empire. Meanwhile, you gain large swathes of land instantly. As long as you have enough guns pointing at them, they'll fall in line. They respect strength like loyal dogs in a blink of an eye."

I nodded at her words, sensing her satisfaction with my response. "Okay, Empress Dahlia," I smiled, and she returned it with a mischievous grin. "I agree." Her smile blossomed like fields of flowers as we began to sign our respective papers, successfully accomplishing our primary objectives. Soon, we stood, and she approached me with a seductive smile. She was dangerously close and familiar, did she forgot that I had literally ordered a missile strike on her husband's location - and killed him?

"Empress Dahlia," I greeted her cautiously. "Would you like a guide around? I can assign someone..."

"I'd love to, President Oliver," she said cynically, her eyes gleaming with intent. "While it's not on paper, I'd like to propose something." She drew closer, her cleavage can seen exposed in my angle of sight.

"Distance, Empress, distance," I insisted.

"Oh, my apologies," she replied reluctantly. "I'd like to offer a political marriage."

"What?" My head spun in disbelief. "You?"

"Unfortunately, not me," she chuckled lightly. "But if you insist."

"Please, don't play games," I said firmly, making compelled to use my ability to delve into her thoughts, I'm not good in mind games, so a little cheat won't hurt me here, despite my laws about violating privacy. She appeared cynical and calculated, yet her demeanor suggested otherwise, so what it is? Until I see...
