"Why do you keep taking the most rash actions at every turn?"

"I'm just trying to fit into your world's common sense: the strong are on top, and the weaklings are on the bottom. You've already seen that we tried to be the good guys, but despite being stronger than these pea-brained morons of surrounding countries, they still think themselves high and mighty. So, I have to be a hardliner to lead my people, guaranteeing their safety and stability against these unstable, room-temperature-IQ neighbors," I explained to her. She facepalmed, shaking her head as if saying 'good grief.'

When our vehicle stopped and the door slid open, I smiled and offered my hand to Mila. "Here we are, my lady."

"You're really a piece of work," she responded, taking my hand. Together, we were bathed in greetings, camera flashes, and farewells from the crowd.

"Wave to the paparazzi," I muttered as Mila was already doing so, like the true princess she was, with perfect etiquette.

We smiled and waved back as we walked towards the bridge connecting to the ship, the crowd's cheers following us every step of the way.

We reached the deck, and the bridge was disconnected. As the tugboats began to pull the ship, I gave a final wave to the people on the port.

"Your Excellency and Lady, good morning," said a person in a navy uniform, drawing my attention. "I'm glad to be at your service. Captain of this ship, Alexander Thorne. Welcome aboard the CFN Monsoon, pride and flagship of the Cignus Federal Navy," he said with a smile.

"It's my pleasure to be accommodated here, Captain," I responded, returning the smile.

In the heart of a sprawling metropolis, the historic palace stood as a jade-colored marvel, its elegance reminiscent of Buckingham Palace on Earth. Surrounding the palace, historical monuments and buildings painted a rich history of their past. Towering high-rise buildings, dozens in number, loomed in the distance, symbols of power and progress, with a skyline akin to New York during the height of the 1940s.

This city, surpassing even Yurken—the capital of Cignus, which housed a modest 200,000 people—boasted a population of nearly five million. The scale and bustling population echoed the grandeur and density of a medium-sized country in Pandora.

Inside the palace, a woman in her late twenties walked through a corridor, chased by several escorts. The maids and guards in the palace bowed as they made way for her. Her pace was fast, and her face showed clear annoyance. She stopped at a large door guarded by two men with submachine guns resembling Bergmann MP 18s.

"Is his honorary brother inside?" Her blue eyes bore into them with an intensity that made them step back slightly.

"Your Highness Lizette, we can't possibly allow you inside..." The guard tried to reason, but she ignored him and moved forward. The guards couldn't force her away, knowing that physically prying her from the door might hurt her.

They backed down and allowed her inside. She slammed the door open.

Seven people looked at her with surprise, vigilance, and confusion. She waltzed in without care and went straight to the man wearing a crown at the head of the room. "Honorary Brother, what the hell are you thinking!" she screamed at him. He gestured for everyone to leave, and once everyone but their trusted vassals and royal guards were gone, he responded.

"Lizette," he said in a kind tone, "I can't allow you to leave without proper escort, outside of the civilized zone of ours."

"I only need to go there, and I'll return."

"Understand, Lizette, my sister, you're asking to go to a place 50,000 kilometers away from our lands," he said in a firm tone. "You're a princess, and you're not allowed to go there unescorted."
