: Hatred :

Snake rolled out of his excuse for a nest. I hate this place so much. Snake then assured himself for the twenty third day in a row that he would get his revenge. Sure he wasn't even living in the rogue camp anymore, because it was invaded by dogs, but everything was fine.
Once again, this is Clear Sky's fault. Does he have to ruin everything? Ok sure it's Red's fault too. But Red didn't betray me and he isn't a cold blooded murderer. If Clear Sky hadn't taken Star Flower as a mate the rogues wouldn't have snuck off to hunt and then they wouldn't have accidentally led dogs to the camp.
Snake walked out of his pathetic excuse for a den. He was greeted by Sparrow. "Hey, wanna come hunting with me?" the annoying she-cat asked. Her voice was all too reminiscent of Splash’s. His best friend’s annoying and equally terrible mother.
"I'd rather eat rocks." Snake retorted harshly, he kind of regretted it. Definitely not enough to apologize though.
Sparrow looked down. "Oh alright then." she walked away, her tail dragging in the dirt.
I wouldn't even be in this predicament if Clear Sky hadn't thrown me out! Out of all the betrayals this is the worst! I was already suffering from One Eye controlling the forest and then he kicked me when I was down! Snake scratched at the dirt, making a shape resembling an upside down leaf.
Leaves are in the forest! And the forest sucks! Just like stupid Clear Sky! Oh I'll take everything that stupid worthless piece of crow-food holds dear and tear it apart! Snake laughed a little, Clear Sky only cared about himself. He didn't hold anything dear.
I'm going to kill him one day, not the most complex vengeance but it'll get the job done. Snake looked around the makeshift camp. It was terrible. Beetle and Splinter were still getting special treatment, meaning Sparrow and Snake were left to starve.
I

highly doubt I'll even get to eat today. But whatever, if I complain I would be losing my only allies. Spirits I wish Moon Petal were here.
Moon Petal was Snake's best friend and former mate. He was the only cat Snake cared about. I'd go find him but he's still grieving One Eye's death. Don't know why, but I guess no matter how terrible your parents are you care about them. Is that why Splinter sticks around? Snake shrugged. Splinter was also just pretty stupid.
Snake let out a soft grumble. His back hurt from having to sleep on bare earth.
I need my revenge, I'll get it. Snake just needed to find the right moment to ask Slash. He was sure that a power hungry cat like Slash had to have a plan.

In a few days the right moment finally came. Snake saw Slash was in a good mood. -or at least the equivalent of one-
"Hey Slash, when are we going to get our revenge on Clear Sky?" Snake asked, forcing slyness into his words. It took so much effort. He didn't know how the rest of his camp mates managed to sound so sly all the time.
"Soon, let him have time to get attached to 'his' kits before we rip them away! It'll be so entertaining." Slash laughed maniacally.
That is the single stupidest thing I have ever heard. At least Clear Sky had real plans! Snake was annoyed that he had compared Clear Sky to Slash, but it meant Slash was getting even worse.
Maybe I can get Splinter and Beetle to help me. Snake figured as long as Clear Sky died Slash probably wouldn't care how it was done.
Then I'll be able to sleep peacefully.

Snake waited for the next day to talk to Beetle and Splinter. He had to wait for them to be alone.
"Hey, listen I know Slash said we should wait before attacking Clear Sky again but come on, the sooner the better right?" Snake said it with exaggerated slyness. The amount of hate in his words felt icky. But it was how he felt so that's how he should say it.
Beetle scoffed. "I don't think you get how fun it would be to mentally destroy Clear Sky." he flicked his tail dismissively.
Splinter nodded at Beetle's words. "Just fluff off, some of us are trying to enjoy our day."
Snake had to bite his lip to stop himself from snapping at the two.
Fine. They could be like that. If no one was going to help Snake then he would just have to act alone.
