"I miss you."

"Miss you agad?" reaction ni Ameera.

Umakbay ako sa kaniya and pull her close to me. I shouldn't be too honest. Nakakawala ng pagka-astig.

Nakaka... Nakakakilig eh!

But I should stay cool. Hindi rin ako makapaniwala pero we're here. Now I wonder if I looked cool or desperate earlier.

But I did miss her.

Tonight, when I saw Elize dancing in the crowd with Luke, I just knew I wanted to find her.

Thank God, I did.

Tumingin ako sa kaniya. She quietly plays her ring. How could a shy, timid girl like her make me panic inside my chest?

"So bakit ka nandito?" tanong ko.

Lumayo si Ameera sa pagkakasandal sa akin at nagtanong ang tingin.

"Wala akong amnesia, hindi ko na makakalimutan 'tong bagay na 'to," biro ko. "What I meant is, bakit ka nasa labas?"

"Ah..." Nagkamot ito ng ulo and chuckles.

Ang cute! Naalala ko bigla 'yung same reaction niya sa food court.

"Maingay sa loob."

"Hindi ka ba nagpa-party?"

Nahihiyang umiling si Ameera.

"Seriously, what's your best kind of good time?" I asked.

"Dati, books, audio books, di ba?"

"Dati. Eh, ngayon?"

Napangiti si Ameera at namula. Di ko ma-gets.

"Ito..." bulong niya.

"Ano?" I giggled. Halos mapakapit ako sa inuupuan ko.

"Ei..." She gently squirms.

I released a deep sigh.

"Yeah, you're really making this to the top." I pulled her close to me.

"Hm?"

"Wala," I smirk as she pouts. "Alam mo—"

"There you are..."

Napaayos ako ng upo pagsulpot ni Anika.

"You're not answering my call, honey," harot nito.

"I'm taking my break," I said flatly.

Umayos din ng upo si Ameera at dumistansya.

"Anika this is Ameera. She's one of the graduates."

"Hey... Let's go, playboy. I need you," yaya nito.

Humarap ako kay Ameera and her innocent eyes welcomed me.

"Pumunta ka muna kina Elize, okay? I'm sure hinahanap ka na nila."

Alanganing tumango si Ameera. I waited for her to ask, sino ba'ng epal yan?, but she just nodded and smiled.

I look behind me before I gave Ameera a quick peck on her cheek.

"I'll see you inside," bulong ko.

I followed Anika after Ameera headed inside.

"Who's that?" Anika asked.

"Can't you tell?"

"Your baby sister?" she teasingly said.

I glare a not-funny-at-all look and she chuckled crisply.
