Nakaramdam na naman ako ng inip nang di ito mag-reply. Inilagay ko ang phone sa tabi ng plato ko.

"Alec, how's the commercial going?"

I woke up from a soft singing of a familiar voice.

Kumunot ang noo ko nang makita ko si Elize na nakatalikod at sumasayaw habang sumasabay sa kanta sa headset n'ya.

"7:30pm na, Sir. Wala man lang ba'ng darating na kahit sino para dumalaw sa 'yo? "

"Ameera came by, didn't she?"

"I mean, relatives or family... "

"My parents came, remember? Do you really want them to come back? "

"No! But friends?"

I look around and softly sighs.

"Pagdalaw na ba'ng masasabi na may mga bulaklak sa 'yong pinadala?" sabi ni Elize after makuha ang nasa mata ko. "Hay naku... Ano na lang ang gagawin mo kung wala ako?"
