A day later...
~•~•~•~Brittany watched from behind a lamp post, staring in embarrassment at Jeanette who stood on a stereo in school that morning.
"What is she doing?!" Brittany whispered harshly to herself.
"Thanks for providing the percussion Theodore, I really appreciate you." Jeanette smiled sweetly at Theodore.
"I'd give anything to see a smile on my friend's face. It's no problem, Jeanette." Theodore smiled back, setting up the bongos.
"You don't think I'm weird to do this right?" Jeanette clarified.
"Not at all, I-I think it's courageous." Theodore smiled sincerely.
"I want to play the fool, so wipe that smirk off your face," Jeanette began, "if you think you're better at makin' planet safe."
"Oh God no, Jeanette..." Brittany whined to herself.
"I'm making mistakes with my eyes wide open, 'cause that's giving me faith in myself that's what I'm hopin'." She continued, causing Brittany to feel even more embarrassed as she rapped in front of everyone.
"So step off, what do you care what I wear? Don't scoff, I'll do what I want with my hair. I'm gonna step out 'cause I'm done being scared. Chances are what life should be about, uh huh, oh yeah. Let me hear you say yeah!" Jeanette held out her microphone.
This caused everyone near her to walk away, leaving an empty audience with a remaining student.
"Okay..." She looked around.
"Well let me hear you say ho!" She continued.
"Ho," the remaining student groaned and ran off.
Brittany was weeping at a corner during lunchtime, being so stressed about life. It had only been two days since Jeanette was acting weird, and she could not take any more of it. Her party was in two days, and Jeanette was ruining her reputation badly. Apart from that, Alvin had been using her and blackmailing her, using the lie she told everyone. She just felt so lost.
Alvin walked by, noticing the miserable chipette. When he approached her, she pulled him to the side frantically.
"Jeanette just rapped!" She yelled in his face.
"A-Alvin, I can't take it..." She covered her face in embarrassment.
"I just can't take it anymore!" She lashed out on him.
"Aw Britt, there there now," Alvin placed a paw on her shoulder, "you can't hide forever. I've got a ton of chores for you to do, so..." He slowly held her face, instantly melting her heart with his touch.
"Come on, out we go." He brought her to walk with him.
Even though he was making her his servant, Brittany still felt the tingles that she hated herself for. How could Alvin have such an effect on her from a simple touch?
Before they could continue, Jeanette dancing on the railing of the stairs caught their attention. As a student walked past Jeanette, the bespectacled chipette lost her balance and fell off, landing harshly on the ground. She looked to Alvin with his arm around Brittany, feeling really embarrassed.
