A/N: I was looking for guideline pictures again, but then I came across season 2 that hasn't aired in my country. One thing led to another and I found an unconfirmed episode on Wikia titled Secret Admirer and I was like WAIT WHAT LOL. Who knows it might be the same idea
Nah, just joking. It would probably be a prank or a misunderstanding like most of their episode plots. Sorry, read on!

The next day, Simon and Alvin were totally ignoring each other in the car. Even Dave could sense the tension in the atmosphere between them, occasionally looking at them through the mirror.

"Um, so... I heard that there is a school dance at the end of the term?" Dave tried to strike a conversation.

"Yeah!" Theodore cheered cluelessly beside Alvin.

"So, have you all got dancing partners?" Dave asked, just to continue the one-sided conversation, hoping that the boys would make it two-sided.

"I'm going with Eleanor." Theodore announced.

"And I've already asked Jeanette." Simon maturely responded to Dave.

"But she hasn't agreed." Alvin reminded him with a sneer.

"Well you haven't asked anybody." Simon scoffed.

"Oh," Alvin chuckled, "right."

"Why does what I do affect you?" Simon frowned at Alvin.

"You know why, Simon. You know very much why!" Alvin folded his arms.

The two brothers broke into a quarrel in the car, causing Dave to groan in frustration.

"Boys, boys, please..." Dave tried to grab their attention.

"I know you hate me for this, but I will prove to you that I am good for her!" Alvin challenged Simon.

"Oh ho, don't make me laugh!" Simon faked a cynical laugh.

"Enough!" Dave yelled as he pulled the brakes, managing to avoid beating the red light in the traffic.

"Now boys, what's the problem?" Dave asked, turning to look at them.

Alvin and Simon remained silent, refusing to let out their embarrassing crush secrets to their adoptive father. Theodore sighed, hating to see his brothers fight.

"A-Alvin and I have a crush on the same girl." Simon revealed.

"Jeanette?" Dave clarified.

"Y-yeah..." Alvin scratched the back of his head bashfully.

Dave thought for a moment, before turning back to the wheel. Well, this was quite a difficult situation between the two brothers.

"Honestly boys, Jeanette is like family to us, and she's a good girl. I understand that she seems like a nice one to be with. But don't let such a small matter like this affect your brotherhood." Dave shook his head at them.

"The bonds you have with your friends are breakable, but the bonds you have with your blood-related brothers aren't. Treasure it." He added.
