"N-no, no, you don't." Jeanette chuckled, reading on.

We're so close yet so far. And, even though I sound so confident, deep inside, I'm actually scared for you to find out who I am. You're very smart, and I believe you can figure it out on your own anyway. I'm just waiting for you to find me, anticipating your reaction.

~Ammon

"I can't believe I have to do all the finding. Usually it's the boy." Jeanette commented after reading it.

"Hence, I think you should give up." Simon remarked wittily.

"Nah it's fine. I like a little plot twist in my life story." Jeanette smiled.

After hours of waiting for a miracle that could never happen, Jeanette began to rub her eyes and yawn. Simon noticed it immediately.

"Tired?" He asked.

"Yeah, very." Jeanette admitted.

"I'll keep watch. You go on and-" Simon felt a light hit on his shoulder, looking down to see that Jeanette had fallen asleep on him.

"Uh, Jeanette?" He questioned, but received no response, as Jeanette was already fast asleep.

How adorable that she could go into REM this quickly, Simon thought in amusement, smiling down at the sleeping beauty.

Simon smiled at her, adoring her sleeping face. He always thought she looked adorable in her purple-striped night clothes. He removed the binoculars from her hand and folded the letter, keeping it in his pocket. He then got up, careful not to let her head drop. He swept her off her feet, carrying the girl up to her room.

"Whoa... Whoa..." He mumbled as he carried her up the stairs, recalling the time he pretended to be Ammon.

He set the sleeping beauty down on her bed, placing the covers over her.

"Sweet dreams, Jeanette." He greeted in a whisper, placing the folded letter with the stack of other notes.

The next day, Jeanette fluttered her eyes open, surprised to find herself in her bed. She looked at her side table, putting her glasses on.

"Where's Simon?" She wondered aloud to herself.

Meanwhile, Simon was watching his favourite documentary on the television back at the Seville residence. There came a knock on the door. Simon hopped off the couch, opening the door to meet Jeanette.

"Hey!" She greeted.

"Oh, hey Jeanette. What's up?" He asked.

"So did anything happen last night?" Jeanette asked.

"Nope." Simon answered casually.

"Oh hey Jeanette." Dave greeted, walking past the two friends.

"Simon, I'm heading down to the store to get more envelopes. Somehow we are running out of them quicker nowadays." Dave began to mutter to himself in annoyance.

Simon chuckled, "Dave is Dave. He mutters when he doesn't like something. Usually Alvin makes him do that."

"I see. Um, Simon? Can we have a serious talk?" Jeanette asked.
