There was no name, just like that day when her mystery boy wanted to reveal himself. The only difference was that Jeanette had already figured out who it was this time.

"Oh my goodness..." Jeanette felt her heart melt so much harder than what all the previous letters did to it.

She placed her heart on her chest, feeling so emotional. This was too overwhelming.

"Jeanette!" Alvin suddenly rushed to her side.

"Alvin!" Jeanette gasped.

"I'm so sorry for leaving you all alone! I was such a jerk!" Alvin apologised, holding her hand.

"Oh, it's okay Alvin. You were only trying to get some attention, I get it." Jeanette forgave him, patting his hand lightly.

"How can you be so kind and forgiving?" Alvin sighed.

"You know... Simon's really lucky to have you." He sincerely told Jeanette.

Jeanette pulled a look of concern, knowing that she chose the wrong boy who liked her. She was flattered at the fact that both he and Simon liked her, but she now figured that all along the boy behind those letters was her own best friend, just like the archer to the peasant girl in her favourite book.

"You're very lucky to hold the key to another's heart too, Alvin. Don't put that heart to waste. Treasure it, because you're only hurting an innocent girl if you don't." Jeanette smiled, recalling Brittany's confessions earlier.

After hanging around Jeanette for so long, Alvin could understand her flowery language. He understood what she meant perfectly. He nodded his head, though still feeling remorseful.

"Just tell me one thing. Why did it seem like you were my mystery boy?" Jeanette asked.

"I don't know, why'd you think it was me in the first place? I didn't even know you thought I was Ammon, I didn't know that was the reason you decided to go with me." Alvin asked back.

"Well, Ammon said that my mystery boy's name was very similar to his, and I thought it shared the same initial. And you smirked at me when I hid you from Brittany, then I found my first letter." Jeanette recalled.

"I guess the first one was just a coincidence. And, Jeanette, I smirk all the time." Alvin chuckled.

"But that one time... I saw you meddling with my locker once." Jeanette answered.

"Ah, that... At the time, I was actually thinking of putting your birthday present - the wizardry acceptance letter, into your locker. Because, getting an owl to send it to you was going to be hard." Alvin explained, scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh..." Jeanette was at a loss for words.

"Yeah, I didn't know about you receiving letters at first. It fell out when I wanted to slide the wizardry letter in between your books." He added.

"I need to talk to Simon." Jeanette stated, causing Alvin to fall silent once again.

He looked down for a moment, discouraged. But he looked up at his date, smiling weakly.
