"I'm sorry for the way I froze up yesterday,"
I say to Kakashi as he sits next to me on the couch. He simply waves his hand in dismissal,
"Yeah, whatever. I wasn't just going to let that guy take you."
I look down at my shaking hands,
"What happened after he pushed me?"
Kakashi was silent for a moment before replying,
"I made sure he wouldn't mess with you again. Let's just leave it at that."
I nodded slightly, my gaze still on my hands. We sat in silence for awhile before Kakashi speaks up again,
"Why did you freeze up anyway? You sure didn't hesitate when it was me you were up against."
I shake my head slightly,
"He grabbed me."
Kakashi didn't understand so he pressed on,
"So what?"
I looked at him,
"So what? I obviously didn't like that."
Kakashi crosses his arms,
"I knew that, but why? Look, since we're supposed to know more about each other, why don't you tell me about your past and before you came here?"
I could tell my whole body was shaking now,
"I don't want to. It's too hard to talk about right now."
He sighs quietly,
"Fine, but you are telling me later."

Blood. There was so much of it. It couldn't have been mine, I didn't feel a wound anywhere on myself. I looked around. Wherever I was, it was dark, but light enough to where I could still see.
It smelt horrible, must be the blood. There was someone on the ground in front of me, it looked like the blood was coming from them. Looking at the person's face, I was filled with horror.
It was my mother.
I reached out to her, but was even more horrified by my hands. They weren't hands at all actually. They resembled paws and had big sharp claws.
My body was trembling,
"M-mom?"
~
Someone was holding me down, which I didn't like. Was I tossing around in my sleep? I must have been. When I opened my eyes, Kakashi was the one holding me down. I noticed a red mark on his cheek.
"What's the matter with you?"
He questions,
"I was trying to sleep and you just started screaming."
"C-can you let go?"
I ask as I try not to look at him. He gets off me and sits next to me on the bed,
"I came in here and you were thrashing around and yelling. Now. I want you to tell me everything."
I grabbed one of the pillows and held it tightly,
"Alright."
I paused, why would I tell Kakashi all about myself? I barely know anything about him! But, I guess I don't really have a choice now.
"I was born here in Konoha, my parents were as well. I don't have any siblings, my father thought one kid was bad enough."
I paused again, which made Kakashi nudge me. Shaking my head, I continued,
"My dad liked experimenting with things, he didn't care what happened either. So when I was about eight, he decided I would be his next experiment."
I squeezed my pillow tighter,
"He put something inside of me, something I couldn't control."
I felt tears sliding down my cheeks at this point,
"I ended up killing my mother, and a little while after, my dad disappeared. She was....so innocent. Since I couldn't control myself, I lived outside the village so I wouldn't hurt anyone else. Then Minato-Sensei found me a couple of days ago. I joined his team because if I loose control again, he's the one that can stop me."
Kakashi was staring at me without saying a word while I was talking. But now he spoke quietly,
"I had no idea that's what happened to you."
I shake my head again,
"It doesn't matter, I can't change what I did. Or bring back the people I killed."
