About three months after the events of Detroit: Become Human, Connor continues to struggle with his new-found emotions. Despite CyberLife chasing after him, he has continued to work with Hank on android cases. On one particular case, however, he mee...
We stopped at Hank's house. I opened the door to see Hank on the couch, reading one of his books. "I've brought Sumo back."
He glanced up at us. "Thanks." He looked behind me. "Hi, (y/n)."
She waved at him. "Hey, Hank. I'm gonna keep him a bit longer if you don't mind."
He smiled. "Of course I don't. Keep him out of my sight as long as possible," he joked. At least I think he was joking...
"Great. Let's go, Connor." (y/n) tugged on my hand again.
"I'll see you tonight, Lieutenant." I closed the door and walked alongside (y/n).
This time, (y/n) did let my hand go, making me feel a bit disappointed. "Why do you call him Lieutenant? Why not just Hank?"
I shrugged. "I suppose it's just habit. He never asked me to stop, so it stuck. He probably preferred me not saying his name, since he used to despise me."
"What, really? How could anyone despise you?"
"He had a good reason. Unfortunately, it is not my place to tell you what that reason was."
She nodded. "Alright. The man has quite the past, doesn't he?"
I looked at the ground. "Yes. It is not a pleasant one."
"Honestly, can't say I'm surprised."
I looked over at her. "He may come off as grumpy, but he is a good person once you get to know him. He was supportive of the androids, if that tells you anything."
She smiled. "It does. He seems like a good man. You two seem like good friends, so I didn't really have any doubts in the first place."
I smiled back at her. "I'm glad he seems to have made a good impression on you."
~Time Skip~
(y/n) opened her front door and set Pippin loose into the house. I followed her inside and looked around. "You have a nice home."
She smiled. "Thank you." She closed the door. "Do you mind if I go change into some more comfortable clothing?"
I glanced at her. "Of course not."
"Great. Make yourself comfortable. I'll be right back."
I went into the living room and looked around. I noticed a gaming console in the cabinet of the TV stand. (y/n) enjoys video games. I looked at a shelf that contained Detroit Today magazines, small statues, and photographs. I picked up one of the photos and looked at it. It was a photo of (y/n) holding up a peace sign next to her face. She had her arm around a PJ500 android. Is that the android we are looking for? I set the photo down and picked up another. I looked to be a younger version of (y/n) with her parents and sister. I set the photo down and noticed a record player in the corner of the room. I went over to it and picked up one of the record and scanned it. (y/n) enjoys (Favorite music genre).
I looked at the coffee table and saw a sketchbook laying on top. I set the record down and looked at the sketchbook. (y/n) likes to draw. I opened the sketchbook and saw various drawings of random things. I flipped through the pages until I stopped on one particular page. It was a drawing of me. I wore a serious expression with my eyebrows furrowed and my lips turned down slightly.
