Oblivious

MICHELLE'S POV:

I couldn't control my tears to fall. Bakit ang lungkot lungkot ko? I am all devastated! How would I clash it? Am I destined for this kind of life? Ang maging malungkot nalang? I went to Hospital's Roof top. Where no one is around. No one can see I am weak. Binuhos ko lahat ng iyak ko rito. The place is euphonic. The ambience is kinda cold. It's a bit wet here. The sun still kept behind the these dark clouds.

"Yaaaaammmm!" I shouted. "Balik ka na please!" dagdag ko. Then the thunder sounds infuriate. And then the rain starts to fall. I am letting myself to get wet by every drop of the rain. Napayuko ako while this pain inside is hard to control. "Ayoko na. Ang sakit sakit na! Ang tagal tagal mo naman na kasi Yam! Baka tama sila? Baka masaya ka na diyan? Baka may iba ka na diyan? Ako na lang siguro ang umaasa na mababalik pa ang dating tayo?" My coat is really all wet, my hair is wet, all of me were wet. I couldn't hold the pain kaya napaluhod ako. At sa pagluhod ko, kitang kita ko ang bawat patak ng ulang tumatalsik sa floor ng roof top. Parang luha kong pumapatak. Nasasaktan at malungkot. Kailan ba kasi magiging masaya ang tulad kong umaasa? 3 years na akong naghihintay. 3 years na akong umaasa. At sa 3 years na 'yon walang Yam na nagpaparamdam. Should I give up or should I keep on holding on? I don't know what to say. I just knew that I have to stand dahil kahit may coat ako, nilalamig na ako.

Tumayo ako and start to walk proceeding to our room. Para akong isang robot na naglalakad. Nakatunganga lang habang pumapatak ang bawat tubig mula sa buhok ko sa sahig. I am already near but I kinda feeling dizzy. The place is like shaking and turning blur until a man came to me na parang gulat. "Mitch! Why are you drenched?" tanong niya. Tumingin ako sa kanya but I couldn't recognise his face. Then I don't know. It all became dark and I became feltless.

When I opened my eyes, various faces were displayed in the surface kaya napapikit ako ng dalawang beses at kinamot ko ang mata ko. But really, andito lahat. Lahat ng mga kasamahan ko sa Neurons Department. May nakangiti bilang bungad, may malungkot, may clueless. Hanggang sa tuluyan na akong bumangon. "Anong nangyari?" tanong ko. "Ano bang nangyari?" tanong ni Chairman Magallion. Oh that's a surprise. Kabusy' ng tao, nabisita pa ako. Oh my gosh! This old guy touches my heart.

"Ahhh... Wala po. Nagpahangin lang sa rooftop kanina then rain suddenly came and I have no umbrella. Naiwan ko kanina sa baba. Kaninang kinakausap ko si Kenn." I replied.

"Okay, we didn't told your mother about this, since it's not too much. You just fainted dahil sa lamig." pagpapaliwanag ni Chairman Magallion. Tumango ako and thanked them.

"Sige, mauna na ako." pagpapaalam niya, then he left. Nagpaalam na rin ang iba tapos umalis na. Pero naiwan sina Fiona at Andrea.

"Mitch, we're sorry." sabi ni Fiona.

I smiled at them tapos the sat on the bed. "It's okay. Sorry rin dahil nagpadala ako sa emosyon ko."

"But Mitch, you're right. We crossed the line. We should have thought of your feelungs first. But we have forgotten." pagpapaliwanag naman ni Andrea.

While having our talk biglang nagbukas ang pintuan. A man came that made my world stops. Holding pink roses flower, wearing gray jacket na may nakasulat na FINE tapos jeans and shoes. I looked at his face but I wasn't able to recognise it because of the ray of the sun. Although, I know who is the man. As he gets closer I'm getting and getting satisfied, my heart beats fast and like I want to cry. It is true. Yam came back already. He smiled at me and I can't move. He have changed. Mas pumuti na siya, became more handsome and his jawline became sharper. He gave the flowers to me and I took it. Tinapik naman ako netong si Fiona at Andrea at nagpapaalam ng umalis na muna. Tumango lang ako then I felt that Yam sat on the bed. I was mesmerised and speechless. I have been waiting for this moment to come and now, I'm living with it. She touches my face. "I Fish you." sabi niya sa 'kin. Corny, yet I missed it.
