With Sawyer gone, I don't know how I'm going to confront her about not sitting by me at lunch. That really wasn't like her at all.
Oh Sawyer. She's such a bundle of joy. I've called her "Soy Sauce" ever since we were nine. She hates it, but she always smiles when I say it. Her smile gets me everytime... that must be why I call her that so much.
I do love her. I love her like so freaking much.
But the only thing stopping me, is that she is a "she". Not a "he". She was the first person I ever came out to. I had known ever since I was five. I thought everyone was like this, but than I realized most of the kids here were attracted to the opposite sex.
I felt so different. So alone.
So I told her... because she's the only person that doesn't make me feel alone. When I told her, she hugged me, and my head rested in her lap as long as I needed it to to take in the moment.
Something she told me was... you can't hide you you are. It just makes things worse. That made me love her even more.
I have big feelings for this guy named Tyler. He's fit, he's tall, he's hot... and the hottest guy in campus, and did I just call him hot twice? Yes I did.
Almost all the girls in the campus like him. But he's never dated any of them, but I know for sure he's made out with a lot. He's never dated one girl in this campus. His sexuality has never been implied.
My phone buzzes on my bed suddenly. I doze out of my train of thought, and pick up my gloved hand. I only have one glove on one hand, because I have electrokinesis. A power that causes me to make everything I touch explode, so I have to wear a protective glove must of the time. It's a text. From Saywer!
Her: Jamie?
I quickly text back with shaking fingers so excited to finally talk to her again.
Me: Hi Soy Sauce!
Me: It's so nice to finally talk to you again!
Her: Yeah... about that...
I don't know what to say, so I just text this:
Me: ...
Her: It was all my father. He made me not sit next to you
OH. MY. GOD. THAT SON OF A BITCH!
I decide to text back with a calmer manner.
Me: That trashy douchebag!!
Her: I know
Me: Why?
It takes her a while to text back after I text her.
Her: You mean... my father didn't tell you...?
What?
Me: Tell me what?
No no no no no...
