As we walk, the knife seems to inch closer and closer to my throat. Emmet constantly shoves me close to him, as if he's making sure I don't get away. I'm absolutely terrified, my head leaning back with tears collecting in my eyes.
I catch a glimpse of redness on the floor. At first I think its my blood, from either my feet, or him perhaps nicking the skin over my trachea... but turns out it's from Emmet's body. His blood. Blood is coming from his side.
"Emmet you're bleeding!" I wail, full of fear.
"Shut up! Where is the lobby?!" he snaps into my ear. I shudder from his warm breath.
"I don't know!! I'm trying to find it!" I wail.
"You don't know where we're going?!" he hisses.
"I'm trying!" I cry. "I'm lost! We can both get out of here safely, just please don't hurt me!"
He suddenly shoves me up against the wall again, putting the knife up to my throat, making me wail. I shut my eyes tightly, since I'm too afraid to look him in the eye now.
"Only one of us is getting out of this alive, and you know it. Now shut your mouth, and lead me to the lobby!" he demands.
I feel like a scared little rabbit, a fox holding me down taking his sweet time to knaw me into pieces.
"I'm trying to find it! I don't know where it is! Please just let me go!!" I cry. I suddenly start to feel pinching at my neck.
"You wanna live?" he asks. He shoves me up to his chest again, starting to walk toward a door at the end of the hallway. "Do exactly what I say!"
"The helicopters are outside, but they won't leave yet!" I wail.
"The guards are mindless drones, I can get them a sense of what they need to hear to take off!" he hisses. He opens the door, revealing a hallway, the wall on the other side doors to the locker rooms.
There are people in this hallway.
He shoves me along with him, walking into one of the locker rooms. He closes the door behind him, shoving me against the wall.
"Scream for them, it'll be the last thing you hear! Got it?!" he growls. I nod, horrified to the bone. "Do you know where we are?!"
I nod, since this is my floor my dorm is on.
"We're on the fifth floor..." I shudder. "We need to get to the elevator... we'll get to the lobby... and the helicopters should be there... and then you'll let me go...?"
His face suddenly goes up close to mine, stroking my face with the knife, along with his hot breathing. I squint my eyes, full of fear.
"We'll see about that..." he mutters. We shoves me along out of the locker room. He looks both ways to see if the hallway is clear.
