I wake up with a gasp, never feeling so disoriented. I sit up, alarmed, looking around. No! No no no, I'm in huge large space, with a greyish-violet tint to it, little glittering specks flying all around me.

I'm back in the Pool of Revelations! How would I have gotten here?!

"Hello?!" I yell. I look around, seeing the typical endless space. "Hello?! Hello?! Is anybody there?! Hello?!"

"Calm down!" says a disgusted sounding voice behind me. I bolt around and see Harper, looking up from her long acrylic nails. "Yeash, I'm right here."

"Harper!" I exclaim relieved. I walk over to her, looking down at her from how short she is. "Why am I here?! For some reason my friends are here! Where is Eli?! What is happening?!"

"Whoa, stop with the questions, I can't answer that many without forgetting them!" she exclaims. She turns around and steps away. I roll my eyes, sighing.

"Sorry,"  I say, annoyed. "Why am I in this pool again? I really didn't want to go back in here, I'm kind of traumatized."

"You're not in the Pool of Revelations, this is just in your head..." says Harper with an annoyed wide-eyed face, looking back at me like I can't be serious. I look at her like she's crazy.

"Wha?! Why are you in my head?!" I snap. She doesn't

"Oh, just a little illusion there, and mind control here, and combining those together to create an illusion in your head." says Harper like she's satisfied, and proud of herself. I stare at her, snickering. Staring at her, I think to myself. I hold out my hand to her head, my hand going straight through her body, making a high pitched shimmering sound.

"You're not real then..." I say, sighing. "None of this is..."

Harper stares at me with a soft smile.

"God you're so much more powerful than me..." I say. "You're quite the sorcerer."

Harper shrugs.

"Had almost nineteen years of practice..." she says. I smile, then realizing I should focus on what just happened.

"Harper..." I mutter. "I just killed someone..."

Harper looks at me, pitiful.

"I... I kept hearing this voice in my head..." I say. Harper looks like she starts thinking to herself, when I tell her about the voice. "This voice saying stuff like, I need to kill him... I need to kill my enemy..."

Harper sighs, shaking her head.

"A rare soul with so many powers like you, can experience a lot of hijacking..." she explains.

"That's the thing..." I say. "I never experienced that until now... I had never experienced my powers hijacking my brain to do that stuff..."

"You must have a really good trainor for that not to happen." she says, with a soft voice. I smile, thinking of Laura. I nod.

"Yeah, I really do..." I say. Harper smiles, deeply.

"Your brain is just so complicated, it can just bolt out and do so many crazy things..." says Harper... I sigh, never wanting to be normal so bad. I already feel the emotions settling in.
