//I'm back y'all, and I'm very sorry for the late update, I was busy with school and I've only recently decided how act two should go, so lo and behold, act two!

y/n laurens lay on her bed in the schuyler mansion, she was a five weeks pregnant now, but she was barely eating, and peggy schuyler could tell that it was taking it's toll.

eliza and alexander rarely visited, seeing as they had their own lives, and angelica had just found a husband and was going to london, leaving peggy and phillip jr. to take care of y/n

john was dead, her sainted older brother was dead and it was her fault, she should have convinced him not to go to south carolina, but she failed.

lafayette left her alone, he had a fiancee in france and it was quite obvious who he loved out of the two of them, y/n couldn't believe how stupid and naive she was, to believe that lafayette had loved her

"you need to eat." peggy said, a soft expression on her face as she looked at the younger girl, "please y/n/n" she adds, calling the blonde by an adoring nickname

y/n stifled a sob, but she decided that he wasn't worth it anymore, that she was tired of crying all day for a boyfriend that lied to her, tired of crying for that french man, tired of crying for lafayette, from now on, she'll try to remember only happy moments

and so, y/n took a small step forward, and ate the food on her plate.

and while she recovers, a revolution sparks in france and hamilton and burr battle it out in the congress.

It was supposed to be peaceful, at least, for y/n laurens.

but trouble seems to find her, wherever she may go, and she was quite sick of it.

she was going to show the world that she was strong.
