A snake and a lion~Ron Weasley x reader

We had been walking all morning and I was beginning to get tired of the endless walking. We were in the woods now and I was complaining, again. " Ced, are we almost there?" I asked and he chuckled pulling me to his side again.

" Almost love," He hummed kissing my knuckles.

" You said that like five minutes ago!" I shrieked pointing to where we had come from and he just laughed.

" Come 'ere," He said pulling me into a hug and kissing the top of my head. " Do you want a piggyback ride?" He asked as I looked up at him. I nodded and he kneeled down as he picked me up with ease and I took the backpacks carrying them. Somewhere along the way, I had fallen asleep and woke up to him shaking me slightly. He put me down and climbed a tree as his father walked forward and to the base of the tree. After a while of waiting and not knowing what we were doing, I climbed the tree and sat beside Cedric as I laid my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around my waist. I saw a group of redheads and two brunettes come up to us as Amos moved from the tree.

" Arthur!" Amos yelled as the man waved. " Took you long enough!"

" Sorry Amos, some of us had a sleepy start," He looked back as I felt Cedric's stare on me. I looked at him to see him quirking an eyebrow as if saying that was me.

" Oh shut up you," I mumbled blushing. I had gotten up early but I don't like long walks, he knows this.

" This is Amos Diggory everyone, works with me at the ministry," Arthur introduced and before I knew it Cedric had jumped down nearly bringing me with him. " This strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right?" They shook hands and I saw the two girls share a look and I knew what they were thinking, I think it a lot too. I jumped down next to Cedric and he instantly wrapped an arm around my waist. " You must be Y/n, Snape, right?" I nodded as I shook his hand. I noticed the boys looked up my way and then the twins were fast to whisk me away from Cedric.

" We didn't know our pranking princess was here," Fred mused as I laughed at the nickname.

" You should stay with us instead of Golden boy," I shook my head not being able to form words through my laughter.

" I'm good boys, as much as I'd love to spend this time thinking of new ways to prank the new first years I am going to hang out with my boyfriend." They pouted but let me go as I went beside Ced and he wrapped his arm around my waist again placing a kiss to my head.

" What'd they want?" He asked.

" What they always want," I answered with a shrug leaning on him as we walked to the portkey. They told us after three but Harry kept asking what a portkey was and wouldn't get on. On two Arthur noticed Harry wasn't on and yelled at him to hold on and as Amos said three the Portkey was spinning and I grabbed Cedric's hand out of habit holding tightly. He rubbed his thumb over my knuckle trying to keep me calm.

" Let go!" Arthur yelled and I listened but I instantly regretted as I plummeted to the ground. When I hit the ground with a thud I looked up seeing Arthur, Amos and Cedric walking through the air gracefully making me want to punch the smile of Cedric's face. " Bet that cleared your sinus' didn't it?" I groaned as Cedric helped me up.

" Oh shut up mister perfect," I grumbled making him laugh. I looked over to Ron seeing he was glaring at the both of us. Cedric went over and helped Harry up as I went over to the only other two girls in our party.

" Well, kids welcome to the Quidditch world cup!" Arthur said as we looked around the place and to the field full of people who were riding brooms or dancing. They were all happy and delightful making me feel giddy for the upcoming match. There were people doing tricks, juggling, people with different face paints showing who they supported. We parted from the group as I said goodbye to Ginny and Hermione, who were jealous at the fact that I was going to be practically all alone with Cedric until the game. We made it to the tent and I scrunched my nose in confusion as it was just a small thing but as Cedric led me into the tent I thanked Merlin for magic. It was huge on the inside fully equipped with a kitchen, living space and beds.

" You two have the bunks but you both have separate ones!" Amos shouted from the kitchen. Cedric shrugged going over and setting his stuff on the bottom bunk and I put mine on the top but he moved it to the bottom making me laugh.

" When does the game start?" I asked as we laid down in the bed.

" In a little bit," Cedric smiled widely as I glared at him and the statement.

" I really hate you," I said. he just laughed pulling me against him tighter saying I know.

" Hey no! Come over here I told your father there would be no funny business!" Amos yelled when he saw us cuddled against each other. I laughed as Cedric groaned at his overprotective father never really having to deal with this. I pulled him over to the couch as we talked until the match started, which was not 'in a little'.
