A snake and a lion~Ron Weasley x reader

I had told Cedric to tell Harry about the egg and prefects bathroom since Harry had told him about the Dragons. I would've told him myself but I thought it'd be a nice way for Cedric to repay Harry for the whole Dragon thing. I just hoped for poor Harry that Moaning Myrtle wasn't there like she was when we were in there. She scared the crap out of me when she appeared, I thought she was going to get one of the professors, my father would kill Cedric. Cedric and I were walking around the school trying to figure out a way for him to breath underwater while Ron and Hermione helped Harry with his.

" Mrs Snape, come with me please," McGonagall said looking between me and Cedric as she began walking away. I looked at Cedric with worry on my face thinking Myrtle had told. I quickly walked behind her and followed her closely to her office seeing Fluer's little sister, Ron and Hermione. I looked at them in confusion as my worry faded away. 

" I'm sure you're all confused as to why you're here," She said and we all nodded. " Well, we need your help with the second task." With that everything fell into darkness. 

I took a gasping breath as I emerged from the water. How'd I even get here? I thought but was cut shirt as Cedric swam with me to the platform. He jumped onto the platform and helped me up kissing all over my face as soon as my feet were stable. We were handed blankets as Cedric kept asking if I was okay. 

" I'm fine Ced," I said and saw Hermione and Viktor come onto the platform. She saw me and came over as we waited for Harry and Ron, although they were taking an awfully long time. I saw Ron and Fleur's little sister come up but there was no sign of Harry anywhere. I ran over to Ron getting him a towel asking where Harry was.

" I don't know, how'd we even get here?" He asked shivering as he grabbed the towel tighter. I shrugged looking out onto the water seeing it ripple and Harry came out. I gripped Ron's arm as I saw him and relief flooded over me seeing he was okay. 

" Ronald. Ronald! " I said snapping my fingers in front of his face. " Ron she was just saying thanks!" I giggled slightly at his awestruck face, he blushed as he looked back to Hermione and Harry. I told him bye and went back to Cedric who was laughing with his friends.

" There's the future Diggory!" Eddy exclaimed causing Ced to turn around.

" There's the girl who feels bad for Ced," Gabe said making me giggle.

" I feel so bad," I said rolling my eyes and standing on my tiptoes to kiss him. They all laughed before hyping Ced up as Dumbledore began to announce the winners. 

" ATTENTION!" Dumbledore yelled hurting my ears. " The winner is Mr Doggory!" I squealed and jumped into his arms as he spun me around.

" You did it, baby!" I yelled over the cheers kissing him. He smiled down at me as he placed me down.

" You helped," He said pushing the wet hair out of my face.

" Cedric, I literally did not help one bit, like at all," I said and he nodded in agreement chuckling.

" You really didn't you were just like a stone floating there," He said trying to contain his laughter. I hit his chest laughing myself.

" Shut up, probably still looked better than you when you got burnt," I said making him 'shudder' at the memory.

" Don't remind me," I laughed at his stupidity but was cut short when they said Harry was in second place. I left Cedric behind knowing he'd know that I wanted to celebrate this with them.

" You did it, Harry!" I said hugging him before also hugging Hermione and Ron. Ron just stood there for a second before I pulled away and hugging Harry again. I was so happy for Harry! The youngest competitor made it second! And the first place was my boyfriend! I felt so lucky to have these two boys in my life.

 I really don't want to write the next chapter!😫 I'm sure you all know what is going to happen now but you also knew it was coming since thsi is a Ron x reader and not Cedric x reader. It really is breaking my heart to have to write this all knowing what is going to happen and it's come sooner than I'd like😫 Wish me luck💔
