A snake and a lion~Ron Weasley x reader

After a very horrible class with Professor Moody, I was walking down with the trio wanting to forget this ever even happened. " Brillant isn't he? I mean completely demented and terrifying to be in the same room with but still brilliant," Ron said as we walked down the stairs. I laughed slightly since it was kind of true, he was okay but terrifying when there's no teachers to keep him under control. Ron looked at me smiling when I laughed.

" There's a reason those curses are unforgivable," Hermione ranted" To perform them in a classroom, I mean did you see Nevile's face?" SHe asked and there he was standing in the window area thing looking at nothing seemingly in his own world. 

Moody made his way down the stairs, " Son? You alright?" Nevile nodded glumly " Come on we'll have a cup of tea, I want to show you something." The left and I looked at Ron who just shrugged. 

" I'm going to go from here guys I need to talk to Ced," I said when we got to the bottom of the stairs and Hermione gave me a sympathetic look as I had told her what he was doing.

" Everything okay in paradise?" Ron asked with a sly smile knowing I hated when he said we were 'perfect'. 

" Fine, just worrying," He tilted his head as if to tell me to continue " He's putting his name in the Goblet and I'm freaking out a little." He nodded in understanding and put a hand on my shoulder.

" It'll be fine I mean there's gotta be hundreds of students putting their name in it," He said trying to lift my spirits. I nodded saying bye to the three and going to find the Hufflepuff. I saw him with his friends and not wanting to be rude, eh who am I kidding? I jumped on his back making him almost fall as he held my thighs. His friends all began laughing as I laid my head on his shoulder and he kissed my nose.

" Hello Love," He said and I said hi back. He told his friends he'd catch up later and when they left he put me down. " What's up?" He asked and instead of answering I dragged him to my room/ dorm.

" Are you really going to put your name in?" I asked as soon as we got into the room.

" Yes, and I'd love it if you were there and cheered me on," He said and I sighed laying my head on his chest as his hands rested on my hips. " I have really thought about this, I know what I'm doing."

"You're not doing it for the fame?" I asked and he shook his head.

" Just a perk," He smiled knowing that would make me mad.

" I really do hate you," I said laying my head on his chest again.

" I know but I'll always love you," He kissed the top of my head and I felt like everything was going to be fine with us and the tournament. I mean Ron's right there's a lot of kids putting their name in it's not likely that Cedric will be picked. " You'll be hoping for my name to be picked Thursday right?" He asked as I sat on the couch.

" Nope, I'll be hoping for any name but yours," He seemed hurt by this so I wrapped my arms around his neck bringing him in for a kiss before continuing. " I'm joking, as much as I don't want you in it because I am scared to death I will be crossing my, well, everything that you get picked." He smiled leaning in and kissing me again before getting up. 

" That makes me feel great, want to go now?" I looked up at him shocked as he said this.

" Now?" I wasn't ready it seemed to be going to fast for me.

" Yeah, we can go put my name in and then a walk around the black lake?" He asked and I smiled thinking about walking around the lake and going in the shallow part.

" Fine but the twins said they had something to get them in so I want to watch that," he laughed saying okay and his laugh made my heart flutter. We walked to the Great Hall his friends joining us and hyping him up as we continued our journey. When we opened the door I saw 'Mione and walked over to her. She hadn't even put her book down as I talked to her about my worries she did give advice though. Cedric's friends pushed him into the ring and I couldn't help but smile as he smiled brightly at them. He put the parchment in and saw me looking and sent me a wink causing me to blush.

Fred and George came running in causing everyone to cheer and I smiled. " Cooked it up this morning," Fred said showing a vile. They came towards me and 'Mione and I rolled my eyes as they gloated.

" It's not going to work," Hermione said in a sing-song voice closing her book. They sat on either side of us and I smiled as Fred put his arm around me.

" And why's that Granger," George asked.

" You see that that is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself," She stated matter-of-factly.

" So?" Fred asked.

" So, a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something as pathetically dimwitted as an ageing potion," I explained.

" But that's why it's so brilliant," Fred started.

" 'Cause it's so pathetically dimwitted," George finished " Ready Fred?"

" Ready Geoge." 

" Bottoms up," they said looping arms and drinking the potion before jumping passed the age-line. Everyone cheered as nothing happened but Hermione and I held up our fingers counting down from five as they boasted. They put their names in and waited for something to happen, when it didn't they celebrated, too early. The Goblet spit out the names and flames pushing them out as me and 'Mione high-fived. Everyone was laughing as the two began fighting and it made it funnier that they looked like old men. I told 'Mione bye and went over to Ced but went to Ron first.

" Your brothers are idiots," I said and Ron nodded looking at the two.

" Yeah I know, can't believe they made it to their sixth year," I laughed making him smile before ending the little conversation to go for the walk Cedric promised. He smiled when he saw me walking up and hugged me when I got close enough.

" Can we take that walk now?" He asked and I nodded eagerly as he told his friends goodbye.
