Hindi Pwede

Kasalukuyan akong naglalakad sa gilid ng kalsada ng may napansin ako'ng kotse na kanina pa sumusunod sa akin.

Tiningnan ko yung driver seat. Nagbabaka-sakali na makita ang mukha ng driver ngunit tinted ang salamin. Napahawak na lang ako sa aking noo.

Huminto ang kotse at bumaba ang driver. Nagulat ako ng makita siya. Ilang linggo ko rin siya'ng hindi nakita. Pero teka, totoo ba 'to?

He have a fucking car? And not just a car but an expensive car. Diba di pwede'ng magdrive ang mga Minor? Bakit nakakapag-drive to?

Kahit kailan naman kasi di siya nagshe-share about sa personal life niya. Except dun sa tinanong namin siya about sa kanila ni Issa. And after that his back to his normal state. Emotionless.

He's the type of person who's tranquil, calm, cool, and silent. He would only talk when his being called to recite nor when we ask some questions about school stuff. But there are also times that his hanging out with us. Like throwing corny jokes, teasing us and sometimes he eat lunch with us however he never talked about his life.

We only know his name. That's all. The rest is a mystery.

Our eyes met when he went out from his car. He waved his hand and then I heard him calling me.

"Daniz!"

"Oy, Ron ikaw pala yan." I said and let out a small smile.

"Where are you going?" He asked me and after that he look at the box I am carrying.

"Uh, I am going to Lenne's house. To give my Christmas gift for her." I said and showed him the box.

"Oh, really? Is it far from here? If it is, I can drop you there. Para hindi kana maglakad. Baka mapano kapa. If it's okay with you?" He said.

Flabbergasted. I can't talk. Thought of him being concerned with me, made me blushed. Big-time.

"Oh, you're speechless. Well, I'll just take that as a yes. Let's go. You get in the car." He said.

In my surprise. I just found myself inside his car. Tinuro ko sa kanya ang daan papunta kina Lenne. Teka Teka! Bakit nga ba ako pumayag na magpahatid sa kanya?

"Pistiiiiiiiiiiiiii" I shouted in my mind.

Simula ng sumakay ako at nagsimula siya'ng magdrive e, tahimik lang kami'ng dalawa. The only sound you can hear is the music from the stereo. Howsoever, it made the atmosphere light and lessen the boredom I feel.
