Cameron coughed a little as he stood with Calvin by his locker. "I warned you," Calvin tells his boyfriend. Cameron shrugged. "It's just a cough," Cameron tells him. Calvin rolled his eyes at him and smiled. He grabbed Cameron's hand. "How are you holding up?" He questioned. Cameron sighed and closed his locker. "Clarke's back home, my mom has told the police about my father, and I'm here with you. So I'm pretty good." Cameron said and kissed Calvin's cheek. "What about your dad?" Calvin asked him. Cameron shrugged.
"No one knows. After the accident with Clarke, he has disappeared. My mom has looked everywhere for him, she even called my grandmother, but he's nowhere to be found." Cameron explained. "That coward probably ran back to your old house to hide there," Calvin said quietly. Cameron chuckled at him. "I wouldn't worry about him. If he's smart he won't come back." Cameron tells Calvin. "I'm not worried about him. I'm worried about you.
After everything that has happened...I feel like I have to do something. And not just for you, but for your mother and sister as well." Calvin said. Cameron squeezed his hand a little. "With him gone, my mother can rebuild her life again. So don't worry about us." Cameron replied. Calvin looks him in the eyes. "Why don't you come over for dinner?
Bring your mom and sis as well?" Calvin suggested. "That would be nice, but are you sure your parents won't mind?" Cameron asked him. Calvin shook his head. "My mom loves to cook, and she has been dying to meet your mother. Please?" Calvin begged his boyfriend as he fake pouted at him. Cameron chuckled at him. "Fine, I'll ask." He said.
Calvin smiled and pecked his lips. Both boys kept staring into each other's eyes and smiling a lot. Their moment was interrupted by Brody and Emily who walked into the hallway. Both duo's glanced at each other before quickly walking out of the hallway. Well...Cameron pulled Calvin away from them and out of the hallway and Brody did the same with Emily."I thought we weren't going to draw attention to ourselves," Emily said. "We aren't. I just don't want to be in the middle of those love birds right now." Brody tells her. "Then why are you still holding my hand?" Emily giggled. Brody glanced down at their hands and quickly let her go. He scratched the back of his neck and blushed. "I'm sorry." He apologized.
Emily laughed a little at him and made her way to her locker. Brody followed closely behind. "Thanks for staying last night, by the way," Emily said.
Last night, Brody and Emily were still hanging out together, when it started to storm. Emily is afraid of thunderstorms and Brody stayed to comfort her. To distract her, Brody put on a movie for them, played little games, and made sure her dog was there to comfort her as well. Brody held her tightly as they fell asleep together.
God...what he would give for her to be back in his arms. "Any time," Brody answered. She opened her locker and got some books out. "So what are we going to do now?" She asked him. Brody shrugged. "Now that Calvin's back, we have to keep a close eye on Cameron. Watch his movements." Brody answered. "That's going to be a boring day," Emily said as she rolled her eyes. She closed her locker and leaned against it.
"Well, what do you want to do instead?" Brody asked her. He took a step closer to her. She smiled at him. "What are you doing?" She asked. Brody quickly stopped and backed up again. Emily giggled and grabbed his arm. "Come on, we have to find Felix, he must be waiting for us already." She tells him. Brody nodded and walked along with her.Later that day, Cameron arrived at Calvin's house with his mother and little sister. "Aren't I a little underdressed?" His mother asked him. Cameron chuckled and smiled at his mother. "You're not, mom. Please, don't worry about anything, just be yourself." He tells his mother. He knocked on the door and a few seconds later Calvin opened it.
"Hey! We're so glad you could make it." Calvin greeted the family. He took Ally's coat and lead her to the living room. Calvin's parents were already waiting for them. When Ally walked inside they smiled. Lucy walked towards the woman and hugged her.
"I'm Lucy, you must be Ally." She said. Ally nodded and pulled away from their hug. She shook John's hand. The man smiled at her. "I'm John, you look wonderful." He said. Ally smiled at them. "Thank you so much for having us." Ally said thanking them.
"Of course! After everything that has happened we thought it would be nice for you to get out. Please, sit and make yourself at home. Would you like something to drink?" Lucy asked the woman. Ally nodded. "A glass of water, please." She answered.
Lucy smiled and walked off to the kitchen. Charlie came running into the living room. "Clarke!" She exclaimed. Clarke turned to her friend and hugged her.
Ally smiled at her daughter being happy. John guided Ally to the couch and sat down with her. "So, Ally, tell us a little about you. Cameron is always telling us about you. We hear you like to write." John said. Ally nodded again. "Yes, I love to write. It helps me express my feelings. I wrote a book about our home situation, but never actually had the courage to publish it." Ally explained. Lucy came back with a tray in her hands.
"Really? Because I would love to help you with that. I know some people who might be interested in publishing your story." Lucy tells the woman. "Really? You would do that?" Ally questioned. Lucy nodded at her. "Of course! We want to help you wherever possible to get you back on your feet." Lucy tells. Cameron watched as his mother smiled. It was a long time since he had seen her truly happy. Calvin walked up next to him.
"It's been a long time since she smiled isn't it?" Calvin asked him. Cameron nodded and runs his hand through his hair. "Yeah, I'm glad your parents are so nice to her," Cameron tells him. Calvin smiled at him. "It's hard to not love your mom. She's such a loving lady." He said as they watched Ally.At dinner, Calvin got a text from Brody asking if he wanted to hang out. Calvin replied that he couldn't because Cameron was over for dinner with his family. Calvin's mother, Lucy, noticed and glared at Calvin. "Honey, no phones at the table, please." She reminds him. Calvin puts his phone back into his pocket and tried to ignore all the texts he got from Brody. Meanwhile, Brody was feeling very lonely as he sat in his empty apartment. His best friend just ditched him for his boyfriend. He scrolled through his phone and saw her name appearing on the screen. Emily. He put the phone down again and glanced into the darkness of his room. He started to let lost in his thoughts. Cameron, Calvin, Felix, his aunt, his parents. He was remembering specific moments that made him even sadder. As he stared into the darkness, he started to think about his parents. The pain his mother must've felt, all the screams he never heard, the blood...oh the blood. The more he thought about it, the heavier he started to breathe. He soon started to pant and gasp for air. Tears were also rolling down his cheeks. He quickly grabbed his phone. "Hello?" "Em...Em...I need you to come here." He chocked out. "Brody? What's going on? Why are you breathing so fast?" She asked him. "Please...I'm having a panic attack. Emily, please." He begged her. "I'll be there as soon as possible! Dad! Brody, stay on the line, alright?" Emily asked him. "Y-yeah." He stuttered.
