Cameron POV
"Are you excited to make a new friend?" I ask Clarke "Yes!" She says happily "Are you going to be nice?" I ask her "Yes! Mr. Bubbles will be nice too." She tells me "Good." I smile. We arrive at Calvin's house...I think it's his house at least. It's the address he sent me. I get Clarke out of the car and walk towards the front door. I pick her up once I rang the doorbell. The door opened and Calvin was standing in the doorway "Hey Cam." He smiles "And you must be Clarke." he says. She nods and hides her face in the crook of my neck "She's a little shy." I tell him. He chuckles "Just like this one." He says. My eyes trail down his legs to see two little hands around his leg and a little head looking at us "This is Charlie, my little sister." He says. There is a moment of silence before he picked Charlie up "Hello." Clarke smiles "H-Hello." Charlie stutters. Calvin and I smile before taking us inside. We both set our sisters down "Charlie why don't you show Clarke your dolls?" Calvin suggests. The girls start to smile and rush up the stairs "Your sister's cute." Calvin says "Yours is too. She looks like you by the way." I tell him "I've heard that before. She's nothing like me though." He says "Come on, let's go to my room." He says. Calvin's room is huge. He even has a king-sized bed! "Wow." was the only thing that came out of my mouth "I know, it's big. My parents had a pretty good deal." He says "It's amazing." I tell him. He jumps on his bed "Alright, should we start with history or math first?" He asks "Math. It's the worst subject." I tell him "True." He laughs. I sit down on his bed next to him "Before we start...I wanted to ask you something." He says sounding pretty serious "Uh sure." I smile a little nervous "There is this Halloween party...this Saturday...do you maybe want to join?" He scratches the back of his neck "I'm not really a party person." I tell him "Come on it will be fun!" He says "I don't know, Cal." I tell him "It's okay. I just thought..." He starts "You know what, fuck it. You only live once right?" I say. I didn't want to make him sad, after all, he's one of the only friends I've got. He starts to smile "Great! Some of the other guys are coming as well. It should be fun." He says "I hope you're right." He puts his hand on my shoulder "You'll be fine." he says with a gentle smile on his face "But what do I do if my parents say I can't go?" I ask him "If that happens, just sneak out. We'll even help you if you want. Just let us know in time." He smiles."But sneaking out is not the right thing to do. It's lying." I tell him "What's life without a little lie?" He smirks "Don't worry, you're a teenager your parents should understand eventually." He tells me

*Time Skip*

"Did you have fun with your new friend?" My mother asks as she took Clarke in her arms "Charlie is my new best friend, Mommy! She has so many dolls and teddy bears!" She says really excited "Can I go to Charlie again tomorrow?" She asks "I'll think about it, Honey." She tells Clarke and sets her back down. Clarke immediately runs off with a big smile on her face "It was very nice of you to take her with you. To let her make friends." My mother says "Of course. And Calvin was the one who suggested it." I tell her. She smiles "This Calvin you're talking about, what is he like?" She asks "Why do you want to know that?" I ask her "Because I would like to know what kind of types my son hangs out with." She says "He's just a normal guy, Mom." I tell her and grab an apple from the countertop and kiss the top of her head, but I bumped into someone. I look up and look into a pair of dark eyes "Hello Father." I say sadly "You don't sound very happy to see me, Son." He says. I look down at my feet "Look at me when I am talking to you!" He says and pulls my head back up "Why aren't you happy to see me?" He asks. I don't answer, anything I say can be used against me "Answer the question." He commands "I am happy to see you father." I lie. He slaps me "Lier."
