Cameron POV
"Why does Brody hate me?" I ask Calvin. He chuckles "He doesn't hate you." He tells me. I look the other way "It sure looks like he does." I say quietly. Calvin runs his hand through his hair "He doesn't hate you, he's just not used to having a Newbie in our group." He tells me. I glare at him "I am not a Newbie anymore, I've been here for a couple of weeks now." I tell him. He puts his hand on my shoulder "You're still the new kid. Just give Brody some time and eventually, he'll accept you." He says. I sigh "You said that when you introduced us to each other." I remind him. He shrugs "He needs more time." He tells me. As we were talking, the door of the cafeteria opened and Brody and Felix walked in. They walked towards the table we were sitting at. Brody smiled "Cameron! What are you doing? I thought I made myself very clear." He said. Calvin glared at him "He doesn't take orders." He tells his best friend, "What do you want, Brody?" He asks. Brody points at me "I want to talk to you, perhaps I didn't make myself clear." He says. Calvin stood up "He's done talking to you." He tells him.

Brody glares at Calvin "I'm not playing some stupid game, Cal, I'm being quite serious." He says. Calvin leaned forward "So am I. What are you trying to do Bro? Keep me all to yourself?" Calvin asks him, "I'm not an object!" he yells. Brody slams his hand on the table "No, you're human! And humans make stupid decisions!" he yells back. I stand up from the chair "Guys! Stop it!" I yell getting between the two friends. Brody shoves me aside "Get lost!" He said. Calvin pulled me back "He's not going anywhere. All I want is for you two to get along!" He said, "Stop seeing each other as enemies and get along!" He says. I just stood there, not saying a word, I tried to be his friend but he hated me from the start! Brody glanced at me "Don't try to protect him, Cal." he said, "He can perfectly take care of himself. He can fight me if he has to...right Cameron?" He says. Calvin raises his eyebrow "What are you talking about?" He asks. Brody smirks "He didn't tell you? I thought you two were together now. Couples tell each other everything! Right, Cameron?" He says.

Calvin glared at him"We are not a couple!" he says and turns to face me "What is he talking about? What didn't you tell me?" Calvin asks. I glance at Brody to see him smirking "Yes Cameron, what didn't you tell him? Are you hiding something?" Brody asks. I shook my head "I'm not hiding anything. Why would I?" I ask him. He shrugs "Maybe you're afraid to lose your precious Calvin." He says. Calvin glares at him "Stop it! I told you this before! Just because I'm gay doesn't mean I fall in love with every guy I see!" Calvin says. I stood there in silence 'Calvin's gay?' I thought to myself. Calvin glanced at the both of us "Oh now you two are quiet?!" He says. I scratch the back of my neck "Y-You're gay?" I stutter. Calvin glanced at me "Yeah! You didn't know? I thought you knew." He said. Brody chuckles "Clearly he didn't." He smirks. I pick up my bag "I...I should go." I said before storming off.

*Time Skip*

"Cammy?" Clarke's voice sounded behind me. I turned around and saw her, she had a bruised cheek...oh no. I knelt down and picked her up "Daddy caught me." She said sadly. I set her down on the countertop and grab an ice pack "I'm so sorry, Clarke, I should've been there to stop him." I tell her. That's when I noticed that her Teddy Bear she takes everywhere...she wasn't holding it. I glance over my shoulder but she didn't drop it. I look at my little sister "Clarke, where's Mr. Bubbles?" I ask her. Tears slowly started to form in her eyes and she pointed at the trash can. I walked towards it, slowly opening it, and getting out from what was left of the stuffed animal. Clarke was crying "He killed Mr. Bubbles!" She said. I walk back to her "Don't worry, I'll fix him." I tell her. She sniffs "R-really?" She asks. I nod and kiss her head "Mr. Bubbles will be in your arms before you know it." I tell her. She hugs me "Thank you, Cammy." She says. I smile and hold her tightly "Anything for you." I tell her.
