Three months have passed. Calvin had agreed to go to the mall with his friends. Sadly, he was stuck babysitting his little sister. But that didn't stop him. He took Charlie with him. Not that his friends minded of course. They just didn't move as fast as they had planned. There was a lot of stopping to look at toys and little animals. "Calvin! Look at that bird! He's so cute!" Charlie called put. Calvin chuckled and grabbed his sister's hand. "Yes, he's very cute." He replied. Emily smiled at the little girl. "Calvin, can we please look at the duckies?" Charlie pleaded. Calvin glanced down at his little sister. "I thought you wanted to get ice cream." He replied. "I do, but I wanna look at the duckies too. Can we go, Calvin? Please?" Charlie asked her brother. Emily stepped away from Brody. "I can take her. Why don't you and Brody go get us some ice cream and we'll meet you there?" Emily suggested. "You wouldn't mind?" Calvin asked her. Emily shook her head and took the little girl's hand. "Of course not! Honestly, I want to go and see the duckies as well." She tells the little girl. Charlie looked at her brother. "I want vanilla." She orders. Calvin chuckled at her. "Alright, your royal highness. And what does the other lady want?" Calvin asked looking up at Emily. "Vanilla's fine," Emily answered. Calvin walked up to Brody. "Why did I end up having to babysit again?" He asked him.

Brody patted his shoulder. "A couple of months ago you told me you loved to babysit her." Brody reminds him. Calvin rolls his eyes at his best friend. "Let's just getthat ice cream." He tells him. The two boys walked up to the ice cream shop nearby. They walked up to the front. "Hey, uh, can we get four vanilla's please?" Brody asked the man behind the counter. "How many scoops?" The man asked. "Two each, please," Brody answered. "Coming right up." The man replied. Brody and Calvin waited for the man to come back with their ice cream. As soon as he got back, they paid and made their way to the little pond where Charlie and Emily were looking at the ducks. "Got it!" Brody called out. Both girls looked up at them. Charlie ran towards her brother. "Gimmy!" She orders. Calvin glared at her. "Ask nicely first," Calvin tells her. "Can I please get the ice cream, Cal?" The little girl asked politely. Calvin handed her the cup. "There you go. Go easy on the ice cream. I don't want you to get a brain freeze or throw up." He warned her. She nodded and started to eat her ice cream. They all sat down next to the pond eating their delicious coldness. They were chatting for a while, trying to entertain Charlie while doing so. Calvin looked around the mall. There were a lot of people walking around. A lot of smiles and laughter filled the place with joy. His eyes soon fell on someone standing somewhere in the distance. "Is that..." He whispered to himself. He stood up, leaving his ice cream there, and rushed over to the person. Calvin puts both of his hands on his cheeks. He starts to smile. "It's you. It's really you." He whispered. "Yeah, it's me," Cameron whispered. "You came back? Why didn't you call? When did you get here? Is everything okay?" Calvin asked him. Cameron chuckled and cups Calvin's face in his hands as well. "Everything is okay. I just had to see you." Cameron tells him, "It's good to see you." He added. Calvin pulled him closer. "Just kiss me already," he whispered and pressed his lips against Cameron's. Seems like he's gotten a happy ending after all.
