Cameron POV
"Hey man, what's up?" Calvin asks "Nothing much, I just wanted to ask you if everything was alright there, maybe needed any help." I tell him "Nope, everything is ready! We are so ready for this party!" He says "Great! Hey uh, one question though." I tell him "Yeah?" "Would it be alright if I brought Brenna with me?" I ask him. There was a moment of silence "Dude?" I ask "You still there?" "Yeah, I'm still here." He says "O-Okay. Listen if you don't want her to come that's fine but..." "Of course she can come! Sorry, my little sister is making us cookies...well she's trying." He laughs "I get it, gotta keep an eye on those girls." I laugh "You know exactly what I'm talking about...Charlie, don't put salt in there!" He tells her "Anyways, I gotta go. See you tonight!" He says "See ya!" I say and ending the phone call.

*Time Skip*

Calvin told us to dress up. So Brenna and I decided to dress up Harley Quinn and the Joker. We usually don't do Halloween Couple costumes but this year we thought it would be nice for a change. I wonder what everybody else is dressing up as. I walk down the stairs with Brenna behind me "Alright Mom, we're leaving! We'll probably be back by twelve!" I yell as I put on my jacket. "Going where?" I hear a cold voice male voice ask. I glance over my shoulder and see my father standing in the doorway holding, what I assume is, a glass of whiskey. My father isn't just abusive, he's also an alcoholic. The worst part is, he denies everything. He thinks it is part of raising a child, he also thinks that taking having a drink once in a while is part of life. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it is, but the amount he drinks is not normal. "To a Halloween party, mom said we could go." I answer "She didn't tell me about this." He says and steps closer to me. His eyes train behind me to look at Brenna. He looks back at me and a fake smile appeared on his face "Have fun." He smiles and wanders off into the darkness of the kitchen. Brenna puts on her coat and grabs my arm "Let's go then." She smiles. But I don't think I can leave, what if something happens to my mother or Clarke "I don't think we can go...I don't feel so good." I tell Brenna. She laughs and pulls me with her "You're just nervous. Don't be!" She says as we walk out of the door.

*Time Skip*

"Wow! You two look awesome!" Calvin, who was dressed up as the Devil, says as he opened the door. We step inside "Thanks for inviting us." I say "Of course! By the way, I promised my parents we wouldn't be very loud because Charlie's upstairs." He tells me "Wasn't she supposed to stay at your grandparents?" I ask him "She's sick, she ate too much of those cookies. And my grandparents called, they forgot to tell us that they had planned a vacation this week." He sighs "It's alright. We aren't really party people so don't expect us to turn up the volume." I tell him. He smiles and takes our coats "Drinks are in the kitchen." He smiles. His costume wasn't much, just a red suit and Devil's ears. It was simple but cool. I think he didn't want to dress up too scary because of Charlie.

Brenna and I walk into the living room to find all the other guys and some of their girlfriends already dancing and playing games. I walk towards some of the guys and start talking to them. Brenna also started talking to some of the girls, I'm glad she's so comfortable around other people. Nothing compared to me. Calvin joins our conversation and hands me a drink. "Don't you think you should've canceled the party to take care of Charlie?" I ask him "Nah, she'll be fine. I check on her about every thirty minutes." He tells me "Big Brother alert!" Brody says "Shut up." Calvin tells him. We laugh and joke around a lot, time flew by, and I was really enjoying myself.

Later that night we were playing a game of Truth or Dare. We had a lot of fun, I'm glad Brenna is enjoying herself as well. I was afraid she might be sticking to me all night, she didn't to my surprise. "Brody, truth or Dare?" I ask him "Truth." He answers "Have you ever had feelings for someone else while you were dating someone?" I ask him. Calvin and Felix start to smirk a little bit "Indeed he did." Calvin smirks "Yes I have. It was just a stupid crush." Brody says clearly not wanting to talk about it. He turned to Calvin "Calvin, truth or dare?" He says "Dare." Calvin answers "Alright, kiss Cameron." Brody smirks. Calvin and I look at each other "You have to do it." Felix smirks "Uh Brenna..." I start "It's fine, Cammy. It's a dare." She smiles. I shrug and Calvin crawls closer to me and puts his hands on my cheeks...
