*Erin's POV*

Seeing everyone exepting Jay so easily felt good.

I sat next to him and listened to the conversation Jay was having with Adam about his time in Afghanistan, and how he had shot a man from a very great distance in heavy rain, which caused a general murmur to go around.

"He shoots better than you." Upton, who was sitting on my other side, pushed an elbow in my side.

"Yes, with a visir, I can shoot at a longer distance aswell." I didn't let her tease that quickly.

"Yeah, just accept it, Erin. He's better than you." I noticed how Jay shifted his weight next to me and when I looked at him I saw that he was uncomfortable with the situation.

"I'll get a new round. You help me?" He immediately got up, happy to get away a second.

"I didn't mean for them to joke about you." Jay looked at me with puppy eyes and I stroked his freckled arm.

"This is normal, everything is fine. I'm just glad that they accepted you so quickly." I reached up to kiss him, after which cheering and calls rang out from our table, which only led me to lean in more.

"You know, you have to offer them something to see." I chuckled before seeing Stella smirk at me while handing me the bottles.

"Don't tell Hermann, but it's on the house for you two lovebirds." I did really appreciate that and we went back to the table.

"You do not need to go away, don't be shy. Feel free to do whatever you desire." Kevin teased me as I slid back into my chair.

"Shut up you jerk. It's no wonder you haven't had a relationship in a long time." I had enough of his teasing and turned the tide.

"Ouch." He wiped an imaginary tear away.

I really wanted to focus on the conversations that were going on, but Jay's hand on the inside of my thigh made it almost impossible.

"Any chance you want to get out of here." I whispered in his ear.

"No, why?" He smiled at me devilish and started moving circles on my tight with his thumb.

Because I didn't feel like playing his games, I pressed my leg against the table, which pinched his hand.

"Jay, you okay?" Upton looked over at him and I knew that she was well aware of what just went down.

"Yes." Jay lifted his head gracefully.

"Maybe we can leave." I had also started to tease him a bit by running my fingers up and down his back.

"So you guys. Was very nice to see you but we have to leave." I got up and ignored the mockery comments Kevin and Adam called after us about what was about to happen as soon as we were home.

They almost got it right, with the difference that we didn't even make it to the car.

As soon as the door to Molly's closed behind us I turned to Jay and kissed him, I didn't care who saw us because he had my full attention.

"Let's take this to my place." I pulled my head back briefly for air and he agreed.

While I was driving he kept running his fingers up and down my arm.

"If you don't stop at least for a moment, I'm gonna crash the car into something." I found it incredibly difficult to concentrate while he did that, even if I would have been lying if I would have denied that I didn't like the way it made me feel.

As soon as we got into my apartment Jay started kissing me and pinned me between him and the wall.

I put my head back and Jay ran his lips over my body, what made me make some noise.

He pulled his shirt over his head and picked me up, with my legs wrapped around his waist, he carried me to my bedroom.

When I woke up the next morning Jay was sleeping next to me and I slowly relaised that I didn't just dream what had happened.

I got up on my elbows and traced the freckles on his arm with my fingers.

"Hey." His voice was raspy from sleeping and I loved the way it sounded.

I climbed on top of him and his muscles tensed and relaxed under my fingertips.

"I liked last night." I leaned down and kissed him tenderly.

"Me too. We should definitely get back to it at some point." Jay ran his fingers down my back, what gave me goosebumps.

*Jay's POV*

When I came out of the bathroom Lindsay was making some breakfast.

I approached her from behind, put my arms around her, and kissed her neck.

She squeaked because she apparently hadn't heard me coming.

"Hey you." She turned and I pulled her closer to me.

"I think it was a good thing that I arrested you." She ran her hands up and down my back and the hair on my arm rose.

"Agreed." I pulled the pot off the stove, which was just about to boil over.

"Thanks." She turned back and got the eggs from the pot that she had boiled for breakfast.

"Tomorrow my training at the academy starts." Lindsay's shoulders tensed under my hands.

"I know. Can't wait for you to pass the final test in a few month." She masterfully covered up her tension.

I let go of her and took a plate out of cupboard.
