One thing I noticed about this stranger was their jet black hair that was loosely tied into a ponytail, but fear seeped into my body as I felt someone's hand grab my hand and I panicked once I met their onyx eyes.
"Found you," he gently smiled as he closed his eyes.
"What?" I shakily mumbled and slowly shook my head. "I-I think you have the wrong person! And I'm sorry about bumping into you!"
'It's always the good looking ones who try to lure you away.'
He could feel my trembling hand under his and he gently let go of my hand, "My apologies."
I pulled my hand away afraid that he would grab me again and I slightly glared at the man. "You know you shouldn't be grabbing someone's hand like that especially when it's dark out."
I turned on my heel and quickly walked away from him without letting him utter another word while he continued to watch me fade into the crowd with a warm smile on his face.
'I finally found you, (Y/n).'
~Two Days Later~
'I need to hurry or I'm gonna be late to work!' I frantically speed walked out of my class and kept picking up the pace until I made it onto the other side of campus.
The university, Konoha University, is named after the land we reside in and its history.
I worked at the university campus as an assistant for two of my professors in the Applied Behavioral Sciences Department Building (or department of your choice) and it was a flexible job that would allow me to work in between classes. I would be tasked with sorting out files, assist in grading assignments, making copies, and completing any other errands or tasks that they needed help with.
"(Y/n)," called out my professor from her office and I was in the copy machine room right next door and stepped out and stood in front of her office.
"Yes?"
"Can you deliver something for me? There's some papers that I was asked to look over for someone."
"Sure."
"Great! Here," she handed me a sticky note with the letter and room number of the classroom and I made my way out of the building and started walking towards the business department which was about three minutes away.
I walked past other students who were walking on their own to class listening to music or chatting alongside their friends.
Most of the times, I was on my own since my closest friend decided to attend a different university and some other close friends of mine had conflicting schedules or decided to drop out. But there are a few who remain with me before they have to head to their next class.
The times we spent together shortened and I kinda missed being around them, but it would be a miracle if we could find a time where we all get together.
I stopped in front of the business department and made my way up some stairs that would lead me to room B22.
I caught my breath as I made it to the top of the stairs and proceeded to walk to the right as my eyes skimmed over the metal plates besides the doors.
I turned the corridor and the first classroom had an open door and I looked at the plate that read B22. I slowly walked towards the door and saw someone with their back facing me. They had jet black hair with their hair tied into a loose ponytail and they were wearing a navy blue sweater and black jeans.
"Hello?" I knocked on the door and took a step inside and when they turned around, my eyes widened and I was left with my mouth hanging.
"Oh, hello," he kindly smiled as he set some papers down on the desk.
