The Path of a Shinobi (Reader x various)

We stumbled across other battlefields and had a clone stay at each one of them. Each division now had our clones to help turn the tide of the battle while Naruto, Killer Bee and I were making our way in the direction of the masked man, but nothing prepared us for what was about to come.

We don't know how much time has passed, but two of our clones disappeared and their memories instantly came to us. The real Madara has made his appearance at the Fourth Division and we ended up in a rough battle with him. Many had lost their lives against him and he was far superior than us. He was like a god. However, the Five Kage had made their appearance as we were losing and assembled together to take him down.

"So the one who we thought was Madara was a fake all along," concluded Naruto and I nodded my head. We now know how the real Madara Uchiha looked like.

"Speak of the devil," I announced and up ahead of us was the masked man who claimed was Madara, but was in fact not. He no longer wore an orange mask, but a white one with three tomoe, two of which were eyelids. Through his eyelids, I could see a Sharingan in his right eye while his left eye had a Rinnegan.

Behind him, were six other reanimated people, however, my eyes widened once I noticed their eyes. Each one of them had a Sharingan and Rinnegan just like the masked man.

'How could they have gotten them?'

Naruto charged straight at the masked man and they head butted each other. Seeing how there wasn't a crack or indent on the mask, Naruto jumped back and landed beside us on top of a tree branch.

"Damn it," muttered Naruto.

Those six people that were with the masked man stepped up in front of him and someone who had red hair along with a mustache and beard who also wore a magenta shirt and pants spewed out rocks that were engulfed in lava.

I quickly jumped out of the way while Naruto stayed there dodging them left and right.

"Hot!" Shouted Naruto as one flew past him nearly hitting him and that's when him and Killer Bee jumped up to where I was at.

Killer Bee pulled out one of his swords while Naruto and I created a Rasengan in our chakra arm and leapt towards the enemies.

A man with short, messy grey hair who was short in stature created a pool of water in front of him with a black club that had uneven hooks and a green flower on the large end. He brought his club down and a mirror was created. From within it, there jumped out a replica version of ourselves with the same attack.

"What the...?" I trailed off as I stared at another version of myself coming towards me. My Rasengan collided with hers and the force of the blast ended up sending me back.

Each one of us were sent back and right behind us, there were bubbles floating around us and surrounding the area.

One of the bubbles had touched Naruto's shoulder and the bubble began to shine. Naruto instructed us to go above ground and I shot a chakra arm onto a higher branch and pulled myself up there while the other two did the same and the bubbles below us exploded.

As we reached higher ground, sparkles were falling from the sky and landing on us and we saw a girl with mint green hair exhaling those sparkles from her mouth.

"It's one attack after another," I sighed out and grimaced at the sparkly substance that was lightly falling on my body, but a blinding white light followed and shined on our faces. I felt captivated by it and stood there staring at it, but a blur caught my attention and my eyes had changed into my Sharingan.

A blonde haired woman, a tall man with heavy, red armor, and the short grey haired boy from earlier appeared in front of us.

We each clashed with one of them and I ended up clashing against the grey haired boy. I blocked his large, hook ended club with my dagger, although I was struggling to overpower him.

We pushed our weapons against each other and I put more of my body weight into it and took a step forward as I forcefully pushed him back and kicked him in the stomach which sent him back.

The other two who Naruto and Killer Bee were dealing with had backed away and regrouped with the others while we did the same.

"So this whole time, he had a Rinnegan hidden. He's just like the other Madara," muttered Naruto before he raised his voice. "We're going to stop both you Madaras!"

"Well then, I don't mind going back to my old name, Tobi. Now that the war has begun, names don't matter. Madara...Tobi....call me whatever you like."

"The name Tobi just sounds like another fake name. Just who the hell are you?" I asked as my Sharingan bore into his eyes.

"I'm no one. I don't want to be any one. All I want is the success of Project Tsuki No Me. That's all. Existing in this world that only knows despair has no value. You Jinchuriki had Tailed Beasts forced into you and you've only experienced despair. Am I wrong? Surely you can understand a little of my despair."

"Who the hell are you to decide...that having a Tailed Beast in me makes me unhappy?!" Shouted Naruto.

"Both of you are right..." I glanced at Naruto and the masked man. "We may have suffered, but it wasn't always terrible."

'Because I had people by my side.'

"Even if this world is worthless to you, you really think you can get away with starting a war and trying to say you're a nobody?! You piss me off. I'm gonna rip that mask off of you!"

"Make that two. We'll shatter that mask and unveil who the masked man really is," I stepped up and grabbed ahold of my dagger while my eyes then evolved into my Mangekyo Sharingan.

"I'll go first! Wheee!" Killer Bee removed one of his swords and held it up high.

"Taking this mask off of me...won't be so easy." As the masked man said those words, the reanimated people each grew a tail while one grew a pair of wings and my eyes widened in realization as I realized what they were.

'They're... Jinchurikis...?'

"Eight Tails...Nine Tails...Eleven Tails....You shall be mine and I'll achieve Project Tsuki No Me!"
