The Path of a Shinobi (Reader x various)

The five other Pains assembled themselves around Pain and intently stared at Naruto and I who were standing side by side.

The same dismantled Pain that I saw earlier was now good as new and had blasted itself toward Naruto and I. In the blink of an eye, Naruto slammed a Rasengan on the enemy's back ultimately finishing him off.

It amazed me how swift he managed to kill him and we were now left with only five of them.

Fukasaku and another toad who had purple hair landed right beside me. "It's good to see you again (Y/n) girl."

"Likewise and..." I looked over at the other toad waiting for a name.

"I'm Shima my dear," the purple haired toad introduced herself before leaping onto my shoulder while Fukasaku leapt onto Naruto's shoulder.

"Naruto Uzumaki and (Y/n) (L/n). This ends here," spoke Pain before another Pain who resembled a female slammed her hand on the ground and summoned a rhino.

It came charging at Naruto but Naruto stopped the rhino with both of his hands by grabbing onto its horn. Using his strength, he threw the rhino up in the air and allowed the toads to deal with it.

Naruto ran on ahead and I followed after him. Up ahead, two more animals were summoned by the female and it's obvious that she was the Animal Path Pain. The summonings were an ox and the other being a brown dog.

In front of me, Naruto created two shadow clones who stayed behind and who I ran past by. Shima and Fukasaku left our shoulders and performed a Jutsu of their own to stop the summonings, allowing Naruto and I to pass through and almost reach our enemies.

One of the Pains started running towards us and Katsuyu took that chance to inform us with some vital information. "Ninjutsu won't work on the Pain that's in front of you two. He'll absorb any technique you attack him with."

"So he's the Preta Path then. Guess I'll figure out who the others are." I ran around Naruto and the Preta Path as I saw they were both aiming for a punch.

"Their eyes are linked. You'll have to blindside them and find a way for them to not see if you or Naruto want to land a hit."

"Got it," I muttered to her with my eyes focused up ahead. The other four Pains took their eyes off Naruto once they saw me coming closer. The female stepped in front of the rest and was about to prepare a summoning but I swung my leg at her hands and made her drop her hand sign.

She backed away but I quickly activated my Rinnegan and pulled her in towards me. I grabbed ahold the collar of her cloak and slammed her on the ground. Standing over her body, on my right hand, a Rasengan had formed and I slammed it through the girl's chest ultimately killing her.

'That's one down for me.'

"(Y/n)!! Step back!" Shouted Naruto from afar. He had two shadow clones next to him and above all three of them was a whirling Rasenshuriken.

"I see you've become a Sage. You've acquired Sage Mode just like Jiraiya Sensei while you have adjusted to the Rinnegan."

"Wait, did you just call him Jiraiya...Sensei?" uttered Naruto.

"Jiraiya taught me a few techniques as well. He was my former master. I'm like your senior apprentice. As his students we should be able to understand one another. Our master wished for peace."
