The Path of a Shinobi (Reader x various)

The barrier opened and we ran inside and faced off against some small and large enemies that were produced by the Ten Tails.

We witnessed Sakura achieve the 100 Healings Mark and developed a newfound monstrous strength to attack some of the enemies.

The four of us were circled together with our backs facing each other.

"From now on, we'll have each other's back," I loudly said to them and while I couldn't see, they nodded their heads in approval.

Above us, a teammate of ours had appeared flying on a bird.

"Sai!"

However, the enemy pierced his ink bird and he slowly fell with numerous spikes aimed at him until Naruto grabbed him and pulled him towards us.

Sai had a small cut of his cheek, but other than that, he seemed fine.

A loud cry from a shinobi had caught my attention and it seemed the number of enemies were increasing by the second.

"Naruto...can you share your chakra with everyone?" Asked Sai.

"I can't right now. Kurama hasn't finished amassing chakra yet."

"What about you, (Y/n)?" Sai turned to me but I furiously shook my head.

"I don't have that kind of power. Akako and I haven't linked up the same way as Naruto and Kurama."

"In order to take down the main body, we need to mow down the big ones and slip past them. The distance is too great to make a single leap towards it. We also need time to weave signs and repel the enemy's attack. Without your chakra, Naruto, it's very likely we'll suffer heavy casualties. And the Medical Corps can't come up to the front."

I eyed my teammates and a smirk appeared on their faces as we were all thinking the same thing. We bit our thumb and slammed it to the ground.

"Mow down and slip past? Easy."

"This guy has the power to clear the distance in a single leap."

"Repel enemy attacks? No problem," I said.

"I can now stay nearby and heal anyone who suffers serious injuries at all times."

"Summoning Jutsu!!" All four of us simultaneously exclaimed and a large cloud of smoke surrounded us.

Within a second, we were each standing on top of our summoning overlooking the smoke and the area. As it cleared up, it revealed four summonings which consisted of a snake, two toads and a slug.

"It's been so long, (Y/n). Something you need?" Asked Gamaken.

"I need you to get us over there," I pointed ahead at where the Ten Tails was at.

"I'm clumsy, but I'll do my best to get you there."

"I never expected to see the three way deadlock again, but I guess it's four now," loudly spoke Minato who was kneeling on the ground.

"Go!" Exclaimed lord third and that was our cue to jump into action.

"Jump Gamaken!" He did as told and we were flying in the air with Naruto and Gamakichi on our tail.

Wooden spikes were thrown at us from below ground but Gamaken used his shield to block the incoming spikes and we powered through the enemies until we were nearing the Ten Tails.

Naruto made his way to my left and charged up a Rasenshuriken while I activated my Mangekyo Sharingan and ignited some flames on the Rasenshuriken, but also on the Ten Tail's enormous eye.

Naruto had thrown his Rasenshuriken while Sasuke threw an arrow that was engulfed in flames which made the perfect combo attack.

Half of the Ten Tails body was engulfed in flames and Naruto, Sasuke and I watched as it screeched.

"Sasuke, (Y/n). There are other tailed beasts inside that huge one! Once it's weakened, shut off your flames. Then Kurama and I will pull them out of it!"

"I guess we could d-"

"No," firmly said Sasuke. "They all burn."

"Hey! Don't you get it? If we don't save them now, we'll end up facing a lot of trouble later on!" Shouted Naruto.

"What are you trying to do Sasuke?" I swiftly asked him, but his eyes were focused on the Ten Tails. He suddenly looked surprised and when I looked over at the Ten Tails, it detached the piece of itself that was on fire and dropped it on the ground.

We were surrounded by the enemies although some of them weren't too large in size and with the three of us here, we would be able to take them down.

As we were about to start, a painful scream that came from a man echoed throughout the whole area and it was in sync with the Ten Tails who roared once more.

"Lads!" Shouted Hashirama at the three of us. "You're all closer! Stop the jutsu of the one on top of the Ten Tails right now!"

On top of the Ten Tails was Obito who had his hands positioned into a seal. "Got it!"

Sasuke, Naruto and I rushed over with our summoning each in a different direction. Naruto and I leapt up while Sasuke used his snake to slither his way up.

But before we could even get up there, Minato had beat us to it and slashed Obito's body.

I leapt off of Gamaken and landed on top of the Ten Tails with Sasuke arriving towards the scene which consisted of Obito lying on the ground with blood splattered.

"That was disappointing," said Sasuke as he reached us. "All that's left is to seal the unborn Madara and this war will be over. As well as this giant thing."

"Let's get this war done and over with," I tiredly sighed.

"What makes you think the war is over my fellow traitors," smirked Obito below us and the Ten Tails began to move and suck itself into Obito which prompted us to jump off, but the force of the vortex was sucking us back towards it until Naruto grabbed us with his chakra arms and pulled us toward him on top of Gamakichi.

The Ten Tails formed into a white sphere in the air and cracks began to appear over it. It glistened for a second before the entire sphere cracked into white pieces.

Levitating in the air was a new Obito who underwent a drastic change in appearance with his skin and hair completely different. There were protrusions on his body and scale like patterns on the right side of his body.

He was now the Ten Tails Jinchuriki.
