I kept the phone after bidding him bye and before he could speak something but who was I kidding, he must have seen me getting emotional on the mention of a week, a whole freaking weak. I sighed but remembered Rachit might be there waiting for me so I switched off the laptop before going towards his cabin only to hear some loud voices coming from inside. It was as if some people were fighting, I walked inside the room and everything went silent. There I saw Rachit sitting on his chairs and two people standing there with their back towards me. They were familiar.

Sana: What's happening Rachit?

They both turned and I saw Kiran and Aryan there. I sighed. Kab jaayenge yaar ye log meri life se? No don't get me wrong I have no hate for them in me but I was fed up now.

Rachit: It's immaterial Shehnaaz, you go back I will come myself

Nodded I settled in the chair besides him.

Rachit: What? Go to you cabin Sanu.

Sana (whispering) : Leaving me only friend in this office to get a headache, no it's not my cup of tea. But don't worry I would leave once I feel it's fine here.

I whispered in his ears for only him to listen and maybe get his mood back to normal because I know from his expressions that he was frustrated.

Sana: Continue guys ruk kyun gaye?
Kiran: Rachit kindly ask her to leave.

I ignored her as always but this time I'm sure, she once crosses the limit she is going to see the worst of me this time.

Rachit : She won't you guys continue.

Aryan: You can't just cancel the project like that Rachit.
Rachit: I can, Mr.Singh.
Kiran: But how can you, won't you suffer huge losses.
Rachit: I don't care, what I think about is my own people and their safety, and guess what some people in this project are very toxic for us.

I just sat there looking at the novel which probably Rachit was reading before they both came. I knew the jist because Sidharth reads a lot and this one was his favorite I guess. Sidharth he doesn't leave my mind for even a second. Even when I suppose I should be focusing on what's happening around me I can't take him out of me. God you have spoiled me for the worst Sidharth.

Aryan: Excuse me.
Rachit: Excused.. Kindly excuse us now, here are the legal cancellation of project and I guess our firm would transfer the amount the second you signed these.

What why was he cancelling the project? Was me the reason? but why?

Sana: guys I'm sorry I'm disturbing you but Rachit I remembered I need your signatures urgently, it's already 10 and I need to post it by 10:30 .

Rachit : Sanu your signatures worked on our projects yaar, yo do it please.

Sana: Rachit c'mon don't be stubborn alright, if I could do it I would have done It till now right.

Rachit: Fine, Mr. Singh you could read this and sign till the time I come back.

And trust me, you would never, I trust you and about your feelings I can't control them but you could, never in these days you made me uncomfortable Rachit and trust me I am happy with you reaching heights.
