I Can No Longer Hide the Truth {DISCONTINUED}

Julie's POV

I am walking back home from our performance at the Orpheum. We did amazing. I was scared to death when they didn't come in at their original part. And when Luke kept flickering out, I thought that I would never see him again. But I guess it's over now, they've crossed over.

I walk in the studio and say one last thank you to them. But, as I'm about to leave, I hear a voice say, "you're welcome." It was Reggie. I hear the rest of them groan in disappointment.

I run over to them with so many questions on my mind.

"How are you guys still here I thought you crossed over!"

"Well, we never did. And the jolts were getting bad so we decided to come here because we thought that you would go straight to bed."

"Yeah, and I said that she would come back in here but no one ever listens to me." Alex says with a little, no, a lot of sarcasm.

"You guys can't stay here! Go somewhere else! Join Caleb's club! Just don't stay here, I can't see you like this!"

Luke slowly stands up and makes his way over to me.

"No music is worth making, Julie, if we're not making it with you, no regrets." He says, staring right into my eyes.

I just hug him as a reflex. And he doesn't hesitate to hug me back. Wait, I didn't fall right through him. We can feel each other.

I lift my hands to his face and he does the same. We both smile at each other.

"I feel stronger." Luke says and looks back at the other two teary-eyed boys. "Alex, Reggie, come." I say.

They stand up and walk over to us and we wrap each other into a huge group hug.

Suddenly, Caleb's stamps float off of their wrists and disappear into the air.

"What do you think that means?" I ask.

Luke replies with, "I think the band's back." And smiles at me.

"You guys think we could try that hug thing one more time?" Alex asks.

We all go into another group hug. I laugh and pat Alex and Reggie's back. I yell "we played the Orpheum!" And we suddenly start jumping around in a circle while laughing. "Yeah we did!" Alex says.

The next day...

I hear the doorbell ring, so I get up from my spot on the couch and answer it. I open up the door to Nick, and he's holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

"Oh hey, Nick!" I don't get a response. Instead, he just hands me the flowers and gives me a weird looking smile.

"Thanks." I say as I smile at him.

He walks away, which is odd. Nick rarely ever comes to my house. And when he does, he talks to me a lot.

I close the door and walk back to the couch. I pick up the remote and unpause the TV. Then I hear my dad come down the stairs.

"Hey, Julie. I heard the door. Who was it?"

"Oh, it was just Nick."

"What did he want?"

"I'm not really sure actually..."

Then I hear a thud coming from the front door.

I get up and run to the door and open it. There, I see three boys toppled on top of each other. Wait, does that mean that they can't walk through stuff anymore?

"Guys! What are you doing here?" I whisper-yell, trying to make sure my dad doesn't hear me. But, then he starts to walk this way.

I turn around and say, "hmm that thud must've been a bird." My dad seems confused. I thought that it was a pretty good cover up.

"Then why are there three teenage boys on the ground that look like they just ran into the door?"
