I Can No Longer Hide the Truth {DISCONTINUED}

I wake up and look at the ceiling. It's 6:00 so I still have three hours until I- we need to go to school. I forgot that the boys have to attend school too.

I get out of bed, get dressed and head across the hall to the boys's room.

"I woke up early today so that means my pain is your pain. Get up you goons." I say. I admit that I probably should have waited an hour to wake them up but oh well. And then I heard shuffling and groans from the bunk beds and Alex for some reason is already out of bed. That boy really confuses me sometimes.

The four of us walk downstairs and sit at the table.

"Okay, what do you guys want?" I ask the heavy-eyed teens. Well, technically 44 year old men. But ghost years don't count in my mind.

"I'll just have what Alex has." Reggie says.

"I'll have the same as them." Luke, half says as he hits his head on the table after falling asleep and then waking right back up. I laugh.

"Okay I guess we're having eggo waffles then." Alex says.

I make the waffles and then put the plates in front of them.

Luke is asleep again. I kinda wanna slap him but I've already been mean enough today and it's only 6:15.

I tap his shoulder and he wakes up instantly.

We eat breakfast and then go out to the studio to practice for the gig.

We play out there for about an hour and a half and then decide to pack up the boys's backpacks.

All they really need is a book, notebook, loose-leaf paper, and a couple pencils.

Then we make our way to the school and pick up the boys's schedules.

I look at Alex's schedule first.

"Hey, you and I have a lot of classes together actually. We have Math, Science, Music, PE, and Health together." I say as I smile.

Then I look at Reggie's.

"Dang it, you and I only have 2 classes together. At least we have music together. ELA is the other one but it's the most boringest class ever." I say.

"Boringest?" Luke says and then laughs.

"Hey... I make up my own words, get used to it." I laugh back.

Okay, now time to see what Luke's schedule looks like.

"Oh my god! Luke we have all of our classes together except for ELA and Math!" Oh no... that means I have dance with him. Well, this will be a fun rest of the year...

"That's cool! I was hoping we'd have a lot together. That way you could show me around and help me with stuff." He says back, smiling.

"Well, 1st period starts in 10 minutes so we should probably find your lockers.

Alex's locker is 106, Reggie's is 107, and Luke's is 108.

"Hey guys! Your lockers aren't that far from mine. My locker is 128, next to Flynn's which is 129.

"Okay good to know." Alex says.

Then the bell rings for first period.

Luke, Alex and I head to Science. That period goes by really slowly because we are learning about stuff that I could never understand.

Then, next is Music class, which we all have together. Which was nice, but it kinda sucks that it's the only class where all four of us have together.

The day went by pretty fast. And I'm debating telling Luke right after school or when we get home. I think I'll tell him when we get home.

We all go to our lockers and get our stuff out of them. Then we meet up at the school's entrance and walk home together.

The boys go to the studio and I go straight to my room to call Flynn.

Alex's POV...

Today was a good first day. We didn't really talk to anyone besides Julie. Which I was 100% okay with. And I'm glad that nobody really talked to us either. Just some hi's and where are you from's.

When we get home, Julie immediately calls Flynn and heads up to her room. I needed to ask her something. I didn't really want to interrupt their conversation. But this had to be asked.

I walk up the stairs and I'm about to knock on her door when I hear their conversation.

"You're sure he likes me?"

"It just doesn't seem like it though, I guess I'm just nervous."

"You're right, it's not fair for him to think that Perfect Harmony is about Nick."

"Alright Flynn, thanks again for listening to my rants. Talk to you later."

I hear her sigh and get up from her bed. I quickly walk backwards down the stairs and then start walking back up them so she doesn't think I was listening the whole time.

"Oh hey Julie! I was just coming up to ask you about something."

"Oh yeah? What's up, Alex?"

"I just wanted to know when your dad and brother's birthday was?"

"Oh, my dads is February 9th and Carlos's is November 3rd."

"Okay thanks."

"Why?"

"I just wanted to know." I say and then we walk back out to the garage.

I knew I was right all along. Luke and Julie are so oblivious...

Wow, nothing really important happened in that chapter but trust me. Lots of crazy shit happens in the next one, trust me...
