I Can No Longer Hide the Truth {DISCONTINUED}

Caleb's POV...

I poof to Julie's studio.

"Hey Julie I was thinking, I would actually like to meet Nick. Could you maybe have Nick come here and then I could meet him?" I ask Julie.

"Of course!"

"Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate it."

Julie calls Nick and he arrives about 5 minutes after she called him.

"Julie? Who wants to meet me?" He asks curiously.

"Me." I say.

"Who are y-" I quickly wave my hand and put an electric cage spell over all of them.

"Hahaha! I finally have control over you fools!" I laugh maniacally.

"Caleb! Set us free right now!" Luke yells.

"No, you WILL play in my band! And I won't take no for an answer this time!" I break the spell and they collapse to the floor, and I poof all of them back to the HGC.

"Not so powerful now, huh?" I say.

"Let us go!" Alex screams at me.

"What is your real reason to do this?!" Reggie screams, I've never actually seen this side of him. Hmm must've pushed his buttons.

"I have something to tell you guys. And you won't like it. Everything you witnessed while you were in the purple rooms, were hallucinations. So whatever went on in there, were all figures of imagination. So, say you thought you saw a puppy, well you never actually saw a puppy. I put this curse on you so I could give you a taste of what you will really be going through when I'm done with you." I say, proudly.

Julie's POV...

Wait, so Luke never actually kissed me? And I never actually told him about the song? Oh no... that means he still thinks I like Nick! And the movie never actually happened. And I never told Flynn about any of this... was I just stuck in Caleb's purple room the whole time? Wow... this world just got a whole lot crazier.

I notice the boys' body language.

I look over at Alex, he looks like he could breakdown any second. When he's nervous or anxious, he pulls on his earlobe. When he's angry, he looks at his feet and holds his right hand in a fist.

Next, I look at Reggie. He's slouching and has drowsy-looking eyes. That means that he's tired, not just sleepy tired, but emotionally tired. He also is fiddling with the collar of his shirt, this means that he's afraid and feels like he is trapped.

Lastly, I look at Luke. He's the worst. He is sitting criss-crossed with his elbows on his knees. His head is sitting in his hands, and he's pulling his hair. His eyebrows are furrowed and he's looking down at his shoes, I see him start to tear up. This means that he is angry, emotionally tired, and depressed. If he could, he would most likely punch a hole in a wall right now.

I hate to see my boys like this. This makes me just as depressed as I was when my mom died. I remember sitting in her hospital room, watching her slowly fade away. I'm worried that I'm going to have to go through that yet another time with these people that I've come to love.

Then Caleb speaks up.

"Okay! Enough with this little pity party you've got going on here, we have some work to do." Caleb says, then throws all of us against a wall and we get up quickly after that.

We walk up on stage and hug each other. Nick joins in too, he feels pain too, he shouldn't be left out.

Caleb poofs up to the front of the stage and throws together a cheesy introduction to the guests that start flooding in.

"Hello, wonderful fans of mysterious acts of talent! Tonight from this day forward, we have four new band members! You might remember Luke, Reggie, and Alex from my "You Got Nothing to Lose" show. But, tonight, we have our newest band member, Julie! She will be on keyboard and my backup vocalist!" He yells out to the audience. If I'm being honest, it kind of sounded like something a talk show host would say.

But, the important part of this is we need a plan to get out of this gloomy place. I think all we need to find out is Caleb's weakness. Also, if I remember correctly, Alex told me something about one of his songs including something about "a wise man once said, hey Covington, I got an offer that you can't refuse." So I'm thinking that the man he was talking about was his boss. So we also need to figure out who Caleb's boss is.

When we finish the dreadful song that Caleb forces us to play, I sneak a moment with the boys when Caleb goes upstairs to do who knows what.

"Guys! Quick! I have an idea!" I whisper-yell at them.

They all walk over.

"Yeah?" They say in unison.

Okay, so I'm so sorry for breaking your Juke hearts but I had to do it. I need to make it a slow-burn. But trust me, when the time feels right, it will happen. Plus, I need to make it semi-realistic because I want it to be kind of like a season two, but also not really because the real season 2 (if Netflix renews it) would never include swear words. But thanks for listening to my rant, but ya know me! I tend to do that a lot sooo yeah!
